They are describing Andre Savilio as another Sonny Bill. At 110kgs in the 2nd row, with the current forward signings, we would be building a monster forward pack.

Something not associated with the tigers before.

Under the FOX news story on twitter, there are roughly a dozen comments from people saying things like this kid has a bad attitude, defence is not up to standard, he's 22 and is with his third club, and that his agent is talking him up big time. No positive comments there.

Not conclusive evidence, but certainly suggestive that a lot more looking into this kid is required before we get excited by the prospect.

Talking about "time".
Remember a few years back when we still had a team of first graders, there was this kid called Burgess and another called Graham who Wests were taking time to decide whether to sign.
Time ran out and they got gazumped by Russell and the Bulldogs.

We didn't miss out on Graham through indecision - we put him a competitive offer and he chose the bulldogs over us. Simples. We were never in the hunt for Burgess.

In the light of some doubts as to who will play fullback and halfback in 2018 this would be a great signing for the Tigers. Watson is young and speedy but more importantly he is a utility player who can play fullback, half, five eight and even hooker.

Yerr I saw that tonight, they said he is heading across the ANZAC bridge to the Tigers, it is believe he met with Cleary and Pascoe yesterday and has been told he can play fullback for the Tigers. Question .. isn't hat what they told Lolohea as well ??. Is something else happening in the background we know nothing about as yet .. ie: has Reynolds back flipped and not coming to us, therefore Lolohea will remain at 5/8 and watson to fullback ..?? What's going on here we seem to have a lot of players saying they are playing fullback next season (Lolohea, Gamble and Watson)

Probably said elsewhere but Gus mentioned during commentary of the game that he caught a lift to the game with Cleary, and then went on to mention Watson possibly coming to us. If he has been told he's coming to play Fb whats the go with Lolohea has Cleary already seen enough and doesnt think hes going to cut it. I'd be happy with watson coming over but i cant see him wanting to be a depth signing something isnt adding up…

If he has been told he's coming to play Fb whats the go with Lolohea has Cleary already seen enough and doesnt think hes going to cut it. I'd be happy with watson coming over but i cant see him wanting to be a depth signing something isnt adding up…

Maybe he has come to the same conclusion as most of us already have …. Lolohea is not a fullback ..... if he was, Cleary would have put him there last Friday night.

Their is no chance reynolds can or will backflip. Tui might find himself fighting for a centre spot or playing off the bench.

Agree. Roosters can make it happen by releasing Watson and Tupou to the Tigers and moving Gordon to the wing to accomodate Teddy. They could also release Guerra to Newcastle. If Watson comes its odds on Teddy leaves now.
