We need second rowers and not many are on the market at the moment.

Do we need second rowers ? I think we need spine players and outside backs first and then props and then second rowers.

Lawrence needs to retire, Luciano is a gun, then we’ve got Garner and Blore who are two decent options, both have been in and out of the team though. MCK too but he’s been bog average.

Can you please say Mybe and Reynolds need to find other clubs?

Been saying that for a while unfortunately ?

What culture change would Proctor help with? The Titans have come 15th, 14th, 16th and are 13th this year. The Titans of all teams want to move him on and there's a good reason why.

Played almost 200 games at Melbourne in their very strict system (one it seems we are trying to copy) won a grand final and would’ve made finals more than anyone else in our team plus played for NZ as recently as last year and captain his team for many years

He’s no standout and I wouldn’t be paying more than $300k-$350k a season but the bloke knows what it’s like to be aWe winner and is a consistent performer. He could really help groom someone like Blore next season and then in 2022 Blore takes over and Proctor can be depth.

End of the day if we don’t get him that’s cool too, putting faith into Blore and Garner is absolutely fine in my books.

One guy has been there done that. The other 2 have potential. Guess which ones are at the wests tigers. I do agree with you about not braking the bank for him but we need to be signing players like him.

I don’t see a problem with signing proctor Madge has worked with him before and knows what he’s like on and off the field and what he will bring to the team if Madge thinks he can get us closer to the finals sigh him up

Proctor would be poor. If he wants more than what Titans are offering we will pay overs for another McQueen. Sure he will offer slightly more but will be another punching bag.
Same as Tamou, he might be good for a year but there's a reason Panthers won't offer him a 3 year deal. And neither should we.

Tigers should be extending McIntyre for two years this year and also Aloai, Nofa for 3 years from 2021. Mikalele and Blore are the other two I would extend for two years from 2021. We need to keep the players showing potential and those performing strongly otherwise signing new players is fools gold.

We need to have as many players that are juniors or were given their first grade debuts with the Tigers. Aloai, Mikalele, Blore, Nofa, Douihei, Brooks, Liddle, Twal, McIntyre, Talau, Kepoa.

Our issue has been proven first graders signed from other teams. Packer, Matulino, Mbye, Reynolds, McQueen, ET. If we had invested more wisely the team would be in much better shape.

We need a Luciano Leilua type signing every year. We are not far away in my view but these contracts won’t correct until 2021/2022. It’s why releasing and signing younger playlists is the only play. Big names if they are game breakers is the only exception.

I hope they are being proactive in keeping a hold of Aloiai, Twal, Blore, Nofa and Liddle. Extend these guys as soon as you can, others like Garner and Musgrove can wait would like to keep them but they’re not top priority. McIntyre would be nice to keep too. If you wait until November they can look elsewhere and bump their prices up and you won’t keep them all, start talking to them now!

Aloiai, Blore and Twal are the key ones. Really important we hang onto them. I think McIntyre has been pretty good but I don't rate him as high as others. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Yeah we need to hold onto these guys. The sooner we do it the cheaper they are, there’s no reason to wait around let’s talk to them now!

McIntyre for cheap is worth hanging on to hopefully he keeps improving, at the very least he’s good depth

I liken McIntyre to the Melb lock. He does a job well and becomes a cornerstone of the pack.

I'll add that I loved the way Seyfarth got stuck in. Sure he got belted but he was right back up giving his all. Give him a year he will be damaging.

Both players wouldn't make the 17 of any other NRL side. Seyfarth is probably 2 years away from first grade. What do we do in the meantime? He may develop into a good player but he's not worth a top 30 contract unless we can offload 10 players. Sign him to the Magpies if possible, but someone else might give him a contract. He made 3 errors in 10 mins. Costly errors too. He was trying though, but that's nowhere near enough.

McIntyre shouldn't be in our 17 either, we should definitely be aiming way higher. People had extremely low expectations when he was named. He superseded expectations so everyone likes him now. He's solid. Maybe a spot 25-30 in a squad.

I wouldn't feed Proctor if he was homeless. Signings like him are why the club never moves forward. McQueen 2.0

I did write previously that if you give McIntyre a chance, he is the type to grab it and blossom. I have not changed
my opinion on him. There is lots of improvement in him and I see McIntyre developing into a Finucane style lock with good ball playing skills.

Seyfarth is younger and the mistakes he made are to be expected. He has the mobility, build and work ethic to be a good for WTs. Imo he is a wide running forward as he is quick for his size.

I watched him play that role at Balmain where Doueihi, Suli and Papenhuyzen were his team mates. Lachlan Ilias, who is with Souths, may have been in the team. Potentially 5
NRL players form an SG Ball team. I heard Sheens once say you are lucky if you have 2 from an NYC team.

It's subjective and we will have to see how their careers progress.

What I forgot to note about McIntyre is that for such a novice, he has attracted a lot of foul play from opponents. That to me is an indicator he is rated as a harder type.

Thing is Seyfarth isn't at all mobile now. Not sure what he was like at 16/17 but he's no more mobile than eiso. They're very similar players. He has no agility, lateral movement or speed. He's big and slow, but with a massive heart and will work his ass off.

But he's still a long way from first grade. Has to get his body right first.

Twal is a better version of both. You need some workers and some impact players. Can't fill our squad with the same types. Of course we need to replace them with powerful impact players which is easier said than done

Katoni Staggs has apparently requested a release, he is a player you could build a club around, also the backrower the Tigers have at Marsden High looks impressive, good to see the Tigers active in the Qld market.

McINtyre has been a nice surprise, however in the team we are aiming to be he should be a backup player who you can count on if required

Also the term 'ball playing lock'' needs to be thrown out of the rugby league vocabulary, one hasn't existed for 20 years and they aren't coming back

Who at Marsden?

Gun player. Should we spend big money on a centre is the question, Momers is coming back and we have more important positions to fill. At the same time you don’t want to miss out on a gun player.

Who’s the young fella from Marsden High? There’s so many terrific QLD youngsters and with only 4 NRL teams having junior teams there they can’t hold onto them all. Smart to look for young guys there

He worked with Jennings as well.

One thing I’ve been thinking about regarding Proctor is that next year, what experienced second rowers will be at the club? McQueen and Rowdy are out the door, leaving us with Luciano MCK, Blore and Garner, all three have not really played that much footy.

Proctor (again, for the right price on a short deal) could really help mentor our guys especially Blore. There’s more positives than just on the field from him.

Wish we got CHN though 😢
