Absolute YES from me for Welch and a yes for JAC on the wing, and YES for Staggs.
Wouldn't hold my breath though.

These three players would make us a top eight side

Not sure where you got this info but i would chase Staggs hard... Very hard.
He has the complete game to me for a center - Speed, Aggression, Defence and a willing to win.. You watch him play and he gives 100% every game and can hold his head up after every game ...... Wait for it ..... I believe he can kick Goals also..
Staggs extended for a year to end 2021 in Dec 19 and wouldn't be on much with the Broncs
I agree, if we are willing to look at JAC for $500-600k I'd go to $700k for Staggs, maybe even $3 million for 4 years if we could make it work
Same deal for Christian Welch and we are set and can fill the rest of our 7 remaining spots with Eiso, McIntyre, Benji (all on around $200k avge) 4x development player graduates on $115k
21 now + Staggs + Welch + 7 listed. Works for me and I'd say salary cap doable

I'd say yes particularly defensively where we have massive problems on that right edge.
2 years at the right price would be okay. Not for silly dollars though.
A lot of people are scarred from McQueen. Proctor is a better play than McQueen and would hopefully (as long as Madge is smart) not cost as much
Reality is they're very different situations, one had a pretty serious neck injury and the other barely misses a game through injury. They just happened to be from the same club.
Both are at the backend of their careers. If Proctor has a wife or partner it will require relocation from the comparative luxury lifestyle and safety of the GC to Sydney. Lots for both parties to consider.

What does the average fan think Tigers lack currently? Speed and toughness / mental resilience. Proctor is tough as nails and I don't think his form has dropped off since he left Storm, he's just playing with a substantially poorer team.
I see Proctor as someone with the tenacity of Elijah Taylor, but with a 10 kg advantage.
Is Proctor David Fifita? No. Is he as good as any of our current backrowers? Almost certainly yes. Would he bring a different skillset to our current backrowers? Yes.
It's not the same as McQueen, who was long-term injured and on a long and slow run of dropped form. Proctor is still a guaranteed selection for the Kiwis. And you'd like to think from that association, Madge really knows who he is talking about, if this is going to happen.
A Madge-type player, tough, fit and good culture, to compliment the building of Madge's team... and half the fans say "nope". Kills me.

His age does it for me, he’ll be 32 years old and won’t be getting any younger. I’ve got no issues with him as a player it’s just risky as hell signing a guy who will most likely be on his last pay cheque
If we sign him, it should be for no longer than 2 years 350k PA. He can use those 2 years to help mentor the young kids we’ve got coming through

Sometimes it’s ok signing players north of 30. Sign him for 2 years and he will be 32 and 33 those years. Hardly out of the ordinary to have player running around that age. If he was playing for us now, we’d probably be looking to re-sign him given what we have in the back row. I’m not sold on Garner, Blore has potential, but for all we know may not kick on. Rowdy is gone now, and most likely ET and Seyfarth will go as well. We need bodies, and there probably aren’t many better options. Him and Lucy would make a solid pair imo. A robust game breaker, counted with an old head with tons of experience. Bring him on I say.
