What odds we resign the Huth

Less than winx.

I think he’s handy depth...but if he’s in our 1-17 for more than 50% of our games it’s a worry

I read they signed Andrew Davey which might mean they don’t sign Garner

If we do let him go we would need a replacement second rower possibly, unless they roll with Luc, Blore and McIntyre, problem is one injury to one of those guys and who do we have? MCK? Hopefully that Simpkins kid from cowboys.

Suspect WT has a replacement already lined up if Garner is released.

Jesse sue come on home

God no! He could barely crack the Bulldogs first grade side!

I’d be glad if we resigned huth he always talks well about the club and when he is on the field always try’s his hardest would be good if he resigned on a small deal

Maybe that Simpkins kid or someone else. Could use another guy as depth for sure

Simpkins/Papali'i come to mind.

Sounds like manly have signed Foran too... to play Hooker. That won’t end well

I read that and hethrington has told warriors and manly he won’t be joining them next year either

Apparently bulldogs are favorites to sign hethrington, hopefully if we release garner we can sign hethrington to replace garner

Sue isn't great but he ran harder than our forwards in the doggies games I watched tbh

Maybe he was trying to impress cause he knew his head was on the chopping block

It might be an unpopular opinion here but I think Huth has been significantly more impressive than Twal this year.

I know Twal has had an interrupted season with injury, but the dreaded “p” word (plodder) is coming to mind with him. He desperately needs to add something to his game. An offload would do nicely.

agree i think Huth outplayed Twal this year, Twal needs to be in the front row rotation and we search for a lock or take McIntyre perhaps.
Front row
8. Tamau
10. Aloia
bench
Musgrove
Twal
Stefano

I still think he can be a quality 13. He can play big minutes, great work rate, tightens up the middle.
He just needs a little X factor.

I don’t see why over a whole season it would be so hard to add an offload to his game.

I look at Welch from the Storm as the perfect example. Total plodder his whole career until this season. All the sudden he has an offload and the past couple of months he’s been one of the best props on the game.

I like twal I just think he is more a cart it up and we can use a Huth or McIntyre at lock that way we have a hell of a prop rotation

Yes Huth is better than Twal

I think the sternum injury has messed up his year. Before it he was really coming of age

but agree, there’s been plenty times this year where he’s been more than capable of popping up an offload but hasn’t. He’s just like an ineffective battering ram at this point

**Mole Warning**

Manly are close to signing Wests Tigers utility Luke Garner to replace departing forwards Joel Thompson and Addin Fonua-Blake for next season.

Garner, aged 25, has been a consistent performer for the Tigers this season, playing 16 top grade games.

The Dubbo-born second-rower or centre has another two years on his deal at Concord but coach Michael Maguire is believed to be prepared to release him as he sets about rebuilding the Tigers' roster.

Garner for Schuster?

Simpkins isnt coming fellas. He was ranked like top5 potential talents in the new zealand rugby union scene. The Cows had to do a considerable amount of work to get him over. Added to that he is raw and a year or 2 away at least im told. The cows have him in high regard we have literally no chance.
