I’m not even sure who would he considered a good player lol you have to be in a crap team and perform good to count as good I think ?

JAC is an elite player who will instantly improve any team he goes too

Graham is an average player who won’t improve a team like ours one tiny bit, I would honestly prefer Momirovski to him. He is the exact player we need to steer clear of

Clearly JAC is better but Graham is a good player in his own right. Tall, fast, can score a try and a good defender. He would be an upgrade on our centres that’s for sure but irrelevant cause I don’t think we’ll even sign him at all

100%, he said publically that he dreams of playing at Leichhardt on a Sunday afternoon. He’s a thousand to one but worth a mention on this thread hehe

How do you know he wasn't saying... "he dreams of playing at Leichhardt on a Sunday afternoon" with Souffs?

hence they cannot be re-named or altered

Ive heard before that the name and logo is protected. But is there a way the board can update the logo? It's so early 2000's

Would love to see some a bit more simple/classic and most importantly confident and know who we are.

South and Roosters have got it right.

The club do you 2 alternative logos on merch and promos which look good:
- ones the existing logo with the claws removed and placed in a shield
- the other is a WT in a shield

Sorry i know logos shouldnt be in this thread, but presentation of the club is important in attracting players
Plus it's fairly quiet on the signings....

They were all around prior to 2000. Whats wrong with the logo we have. Why change it. What would you change it to. And finally how does that attract players to the club.

Where there's a choice, players would rather choose to play at a club that has pride and is cool.

There's been plenty of discussion of the lack of identity WT has both in media and on the forum.

Obviously there's plenty of work that needs to be done to address that, but the most visible form of a clubs identity is the logo.

Early in Crowes tenure at Souths they updated the logo to just the rabbit by itself. It shows the history, but is really cool. The black rabbit is now worn for home games to celebrate the indeginous connection of the club.

Just in the last 12 month's Latrell and Johnson have signed for less than we offered. ADC might do the same. Why? Because the club is standing for something more than just a flashy logo and flashy cash.

And here's me thinking the white rabbit turned black because of all their sins. Lol.

Yep. He was on the Fan with Vossy and said it was on his list to play at Leichhardt. He also mentioned he grew up supporting Souths and liked the Dragons 2010 team.

No. Johnson said only last week that our Offer was the lowest he recieved, and he still nearly took it

CG is light years ahead of Momirovski. I’d take him if he was available, he’d be our best centre since the early day of Chris Lawrence.

I never said I’d take him over JAC, I said if he was available I’d take him and he’d be our best centre. We have more than 1 spot available.

Middle Forwards: Twal, Mikalele, Utoikamanu, Tamou, Musgrove, Aloai, Packer, McIntyre

Edge Forwards: Leilua, Garner, Blore, MCK
Hookers: Liddle, Simpkin
Halfbacks: Brooks, Madden
5/8: Reynolds, Walters
Centres: Mbye, Leilua, Talau, Hoffman
Wing: Nofa, Kepoa, Kei, Bradley
Fullback: Douihei

Douehi and Mbye can cover 5/8, Centre and Fullback. Mbye/Walters also at hooker

In a perfect world Packer is moved on to give us more balance in the cap and also roster spots. Way too many middle forwards with a lack of depth and talent in the outside backs and halves.

Fox or Suali as a fullback with Douihei to 5/8 improves the team and depth. We need a fullback, edge back rowers and centre/wing.
Releasing Garner with our lack of depth is a questionable move.

They might be more reliable if we could settle on the team.

AD showed real promise at 5/8 and I hope that's where he stays.
Momo will be better for the year at the Storm and Mybe can be good just isn't let settle into a position. Many people criticise his seemingly passive nature but i'm not convinced he doesn't care.

He interviews well but you would expect him to transition (is that the go word now?) to the forwards. He's not quick and his defence in the centres is problematic. Douelhi to me offers more pace, ball playing and football nous.

When we were rumoured to be signing him (last year?) I wasn't a huge fan. But if it's a straight swap for someone who never plays anyway, he could be a handy pick up.
