Bodene Thompson and Hoffman are the 2 best back rowers left unsigned…Bodene was having a cracker of a game yesterday too before he got injured and seems to have came out of an early season form slump and his past month even in the absence of Johnson has been great ...I would take him back..great defender..

Hoffman if he goes around again will likely be a swansong with the Storm...

Bodene runs hard too. I'm with you Geo, I'd take him back in a second.

Id have him back as well.

Me too. Was one of very few players we've had that played the game tough.

If we had bodene who played for the tigers from 2012-2014 I'd have him. But ask any warriors fan what they think of him this year and you might reconsider

Any good English forwards in England? Need a Elliot whitehead type player. Or better that a Gareth clone will complement this squad.

No need for clones, the original Ellis is still playing for Hull.
I'd take him back at age 36 before Benchi.

Only a shadow of the player he was. Still makes a few hitups and some offloads but that's about it.

Yeah. Only being facetious. I watched him last night in the challenge cup semi, still looks fit bit way past NRL standard.

Toronto Wolfpack have Fui fui Moi Moi, Josh McCrone, Ryan Bailey, Craig Hall plus maybe Dave Taylor. Along with the Jacks brothers who played a lot of State Cup. Plus a few other Super League players in there 2018 squad.
Good on them.
Its good to see Rugby League showing some initiative somewhere in the world. Super League does ok but the NRL has done nothing to expand Rugby League…. Disgraceful.

I hope the WTs are extending the contract of Marsters, His ability to beat his opponent his uncanny and I'm sure many envious Clubs will target him. MWZ is also performing as well as any winger in the NRL.

I find it hard to believe that Tom Opacic is still playing ISC cup in Queensland. He has had a few injuries but he is clearly NRL material …. there are a number of Sydney clubs interested but the Broncos will not allow him to leave ... they just keep him in the ISC Cup. Unfair on Tom because he deserves to be playing at the highest level.

Definitely.
I would also go for his brother who (I believe) is killing it at Cronulla.

Elijah Taylor considering Warriors offer -
Elijah Taylor is considering up a two-year deal to remain at the Wests Tigers or a return to New Zealand to take up a contract with the Warriors.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Warriors are keen to bring Taylor back to the club where he made his debut n 2011.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Warriors are keen to bring Taylor back to the club where he made his debut n 2011.
Taylor has a lot of family in New Zealand and they are keen for him to return once his contract with the Wests Tigers finishes at the end of the season.

A delicate family situation though might be enough reason for Taylor to reject the offer from the Warriors and stay with the Wests Tigers.

Taylor’s one-year-old daughter was placed in intensive care earlier this year after suffering a seizure, with doctors telling Taylor he should remain in Sydney.

“I really want to stay,” Taylor told the Daily Telegraph.

“My daughter had an episode at the start of the year. The doctors have advised us to stay in Sydney. It’s a decision based around my daughter’s (wellbeing).
“Hopefully we can sort it out by the end of the week. My family comes first in making decisions; it’s what’s best for my family.”

The article confirms ET's preference is to stay so hopefully as he states it should be sorted by the end of the week.

Haven't read through the whole thread but what happened to the two signings supposedly in the cooling off period. 10 business days have come and gone and just like the Connor Watson tip, nothing has transpired.

Marsters younger brother plays fullback for the Dragons. Pretty handy player too.

I'm guessing what happened with Connor Watson, is that Knights upped their offer and pretty much assured him he would get first crack at a starting position.

The media went against us too, no surprise. They certainly didn't help (though don't know for sure if I think they hurt our chances). Whether he signed and back-flipped, or whether he would have come to us but Roosters held him back too long, we'll probably never know.

As far as the two COP signings, I was hoping it was ET and Eiso. Eiso seems likely, but ET seeming more and more unlikely that he has already signed.
