Negative Nelly Alert:

Why haven’t we extended Nofa and Aioli while waiting for JAC to make up his mind?

Who is to say we haven't?

Free to negotiate (within the ‘rules’) in 2 days so let’s hope they have

@THE_POM @CCTW barring McIntyre and possibly Seyfarth, are there any other re-signings on the way? We have some talent who are free to talk with rivals as of November 1st and certainly can’t afford to lose the likes of Nofa, Aloiai, Mikaele, Musgrove etc

Mikaele we might be able to afford to lose if he doesn’t perform. Hopefully being off contract provides some extra motivation for him to do so.

I think we need to stick by him. Has all the makings of a good prop is just very young, if he works very hard he can become a good consistent player. Has shown he can be a damaging player up the middle at times

How many props have we let go too early and they end up coming good? Too many to count. As you said hopefully this being the final year of his deal plus his new kid can gift him some motivation

I to have the same concern that the othee clubs may entice our up and comers away from our team thatvis in the midst of yet another rebuild.

The Tigers are a season away from further deadwooding dud contracts.

Mikaele is one we can’t afford to lose in my opinion. Bloke was pumping out 100+ off the bench nearly every week until those knee injuries towards the backend of the year. A lot of people had him playing for the Maroons this year. Only 22 as well

He never had the makings of a varsity athlete

3 development players is a good number. Too many and you run the risk of having guys in your top squad who aren’t that great.

I wonder if Kelma Tuilagi is related to NZ All Black Manu Tuilagi?

Tuilagi a lock

Never seen him but at 21, if madge was sold on him and strongly was in his plans would he not just sign him as a fulltime contract so he would be available from r1? Could be wrong as i. may not understand it fully.

Or , we have signed a few players already and have our squad looking full , and somehow this kid signed as a development contract , knowing come round 16 he’s as good as a full time squad member anyway .

looks like we're back to raiding junior talent from other clubs that can't get a start. congrats to both players, fingers crossed for the both of them they both crack first grade at some point next year.

Not a bad ploy, get them now to avoid paying massive overs if they show some promise. If they don't kick on, no great drama. Good to see.

22 is a bit old for a development player I would have thought
