Great question about Second Team. I was a passionate Western Suburbs Magpies supporter since 1977. The first couple of years WM were one of the better teams and we robbed in one semi against Manly referee Greg Hadley. Everytime we had a decent player Manly bought them and last straw when Tommy R and Graeme O'Grady joined Newtown. My interest in mid 80's waned as all my friends enjoyed 4 Parramatta wins. Parra is my local team at Seven hills. When Canberra joined I enjoyed their style of play so it bought me back to league. Loved Daley, Stuart, Clyde, Big Mal, Dean Lance, Brick with Eyes, etc. Still follow the Magpies but they struggled and nearly kicked out like Newtown was. I loved Lidcombe oval and learnt all my bad language from the fans. When WM and BT merged which I supported I followed WT but still enjoy the Raiders. Also soft spot for the NS Bears. North Sydney Oval is one of my favourite grounds. I love Rugby League so watch most televised games. I do love this Forum and it's Members.

Loved the resigning of Shawn Blore. He could be anything if he stays injury free. Well done recruitment.

Whoever gets storm coaching job beware.Bellamy had 3 of the best players for a long time.All will be gone in2022.Plus 2 of the best forwards in the game are getting long in the tooth.They will always have a good side but without Smith maybe a 10% less so.Munster great but plays hard and is injury prone.Top management moving on is ominous..Think they were lucky easts lost key players and burnt out or i doubt they win the comp.

True.But inheriting the bulk of a premiership winning team with a culture and appetite for hard work rather than whinging about it,with the added plus of being out of the Sydney media spotlite,wld be irresistable to Madge

Going to one of the most professional clubs in the comp would be an attraction. They'll have challenges in the post Smith/ Bellamy years but will still be a strong club.

Never had one - never will. All other teams are on a sliding dislike strongly scale depending on how much they screwed us over and when it happened. 🙂

Our September team, as we hang onto the NRL season.

I don't have a "September team", just one team I hate a little less than the other seven.
