Even ignoring his off field antics I wouldn’t want Lodge. His knees are shot, he played poorly and he’s on huge money. Joe O is a better signing and he’s the same age.

He is a passionate first grade footballer who does give 100 percent each week.
But there has to a limit to what you offer a player who still has flaws in his game, The board need to look around at other wingers Of his quality to find out what he is worth and if he doesn’t believe what we offer him to be enough than that’s All they can do.

I thought our Dev players had been settled on. I would say probably the year, after but plenty of competition for development spots in 2022

They played SG Ball last year so guessing they will move into Jersey Flegg squad.

I really don’t get why we would want siro back, we have blore who yes last year was abit unconditioned but IMO he has what it takes to be a tremendous footballer and madge an co must see that also. I love garner his attack is probably one of the best second rowers atm....but Siro would add so much to our team with his ball playing ability...even as he ages and Blore steps up he’d still be a great bench utility...imo I’d be fine with giving Siro a 3 year deal maybe even a 4th CO

I’m the same I don’t mind garner I think he has some great skills he’s defence is definitely not the best in the comp or even close to it but that’s something he could work on. I also like siro was devastated when he left but that’s just how it is. I wouldn’t mind having him back but I just really think blore will kill it this year and be wasted if hes getting limited game time.

Depends, they have the option of staying in sg ball given the age groups have been pushed up, but if ability warrants it they could we slot straight into Flegg.

It's the same thing with the flegg boys though, they lost a year to develop and impress. But still some of the best may go straight to NSW Cup and play against adults opening up opportunities for sg ball guys

The biggest disappointment for me if Nofo signs with another club is we could have secured JAC by releasing Nofo to the Storm this year.

Assuming Nofo wanted to move to Melbourne.
The club wouldn’t have been able to just say player a go to Melbourne. We don’t have a nba style system here and players have an actual say in the decisions.

Statements like this are pointless.

I’m confident he would have gone if the club presented it to him as an option.
What would you choose, to play in one of the best Rugby League systems in the world with guaranteed finals and a big shot at playing in a GF, or slugging it out for hopefully a 9th or 10th spot whilst putting up with all the garbage our club attracts?

Having to live in Melbourne would negate all those positives you mentioned I reckon ?

Depends, they have the option of staying in sg ball given the age groups have been pushed up, but if ability warrants it they could we slot straight into Flegg.

If they’re good enough they can definitely be moved up quicker to give them that experience

I forgot about Sironens ball playing ability, it is quite good he even played some 5/8 for us back in the day. Could really keep the opposition guessing if used correctly.

I forgot about Sironens ball playing ability, it is quite good he even played some 5/8 for us back in the day. Could really keep the opposition guessing if used correctly.

Siro hasnt demonstrated any ball playing ability for about 8 years!!!Hes also very injury prone.Just not what we need.As for Garner,runs good lines off Brooks(when latter is having a go),but misses a lot of tackles leading to tries.Dont think hes first grade.We need to do better than both if we wanna make the 8

Don't think you have watched Siro consistently for the past couple of years. He's a ball player when asked to do so.

I thought Sironen was Injury prone too but he only missed two games this year. 3 tries 3 try assists and 106 running metres a game.

Garner 17 games 6 tries 0 try assists 87 metres a game, with some poor defending there too

Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but for Wests Tigers, Sironen is the better fit. We need consistency, defensive improvements and guys who’ll do the tough stuff. Sironen fits that mould a lot better than Garner I feel.
