Condon believes Grant’s management is looking to secure him a deal of close to $800,000 a season over five years.

“Right at the moment his management is deep in discussions about a long-term contract,” he added.

“I would suggest probably four or five years, and I would say growing to around $800,000 a year.”

Grant's future at the Storm is still uncertain with Cameron Smith undecided on his 2021 plans.

Smith clearly wants to play on . It would be too easy for him to say he’s retired from the game now .

If it wasn’t for Harry he’d be signed on with the storm already .

The Storm could afford to lose Brandon Smith but not Harry Grant .

I don't think the Storm will end up losing either Brandon or Harry.

Brandon has said he's happy to play on at the Storm even if Cam is still there if it means another final win.

And a club like Storm don't lose a player like Harry. And then Cam himself won't allow that to happen to his club.

The Great Man is hanging up his boots .. After 512 games across the NRL and English competitions Gareth Ellis announces retirement .. !! A great man and even a greater player .. well done .. !!

sironen was such an underperformer when he was here initially- he had huge wraps on him when he came into first grade and regularly disappointed.
i would rather the team kept garner rather than recycle sironen.

Unfortunately he was asked to play a multitude of different positions as well...including Halfback!
He is an infinitely better player now then when he left and a big upgrade on Garner.

He's taking on an assistant coaching role under Hodgo at Hull.

I thought Sironen was Injury prone too but he only missed two games this year. 3 tries 3 try assists and 106 running metres a game.

Garner 17 games 6 tries 0 try assists 87 metres a game, with some poor defending there too

Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but for Wests Tigers, Sironen is the better fit. We need consistency, defensive improvements and guys who’ll do the tough stuff. Sironen fits that mould a lot better than Garner I feel.

He's not..yes he did his ACL in 2018..only played 4 games..in 2019 played 22 out of a possible 25 games and 18 out of 20 this year..

I wouldn't call it injury prone..

I think if Cam plays on next year it will be with the Titans, so the Storm don’t loose HG and BS.

Take your Packer money and Mmbye money and your Liddle money and you have plenty for Harry with an increase for Simpkin that is hooker taken care of long term

Simpkin won't hang around if Grant is signed for 5 years.

Maybe we up the Simpkin money a bit and he comes on at 9 and Grant goes to lock. Melbourne stockpiled Brandon and Cameron Smith for a number of years why can't we

We have to give Simpkin a go and keep him away from Brisbane or anywhere else if he is good

If he is good like some suggest then he can't sit behind Liddle for too long.

Interesting looking at contracts at end of 2021we have 6 players off contract, including packer and reynolds, thats a lot of pressure on players to perform.AT end of 2022 only 5 or 6 with contracts .Many changes ahead for TIGERS '.These figures may change with upgrades and such, but we have to be carefull not to have a lot expiring at once which was a big mistake in a lot of clubs

Need to secure him but no rush (if Liddell stays fit) to put him into the 17 atm, imo

Tbh I’ve never seen him play

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles has added real backline speed for next season after securing two of the best young wingers in the NRL.

The Sea Eagles have signed Christian Tuipulotu on a four-year deal and have followed it up with the signature of Jason Saab for three years. Both players become part of Manly’s top 30 squad for the 2021 season.

After securing a release from the final year of his contract with the Sydney Roosters, Tuipulotu commenced pre-season training with the Sea Eagles this week.

Sad that Manly sign the two best young wingers on the market yet we're struggling to find quality candidates. Both of these wingers are better than our current wing prospects.

Champion, deserves his own thread. He debuted in 1999, first rugby league player to have played professionally in 4 different decades. And in each game of his 23 seasons, he always put in.

I have a feeling BB Kepaoa is going to be a gem although he reminds me of a faster version of Craig Innes. I also believe we should not be blocking the pathways for Rizk and I also believe Scolari will be in the mix.

I your not I too am yet to see his worth.

From what I saw he doesn't hit the line hard on kick returns, seems very lightweight in the size stakes and shows no real enthusiasm.
The only positive I see is that he would be a great target for kicks....
