No thanks to Lodge. I don't care how well he is going. I'd rather us sign Hitler, Mao and Stalin first.

Mao and Hitler for sure but Stalin's small stature wouldn't work in the forwards. He'd be more of an elusive outside back.

I really don’t get why we would want siro back, we have blore who yes last year was abit unconditioned but IMO he has what it takes to be a tremendous footballer and madge an co must see that also. So why would we want him to be a bench player for siro? Just my opinion of course just confuses me abit tbh

I love garner his attack is probably one of the best second rowers atm....but Siro would add so much to our team with his ball playing ability...even as he ages and Blore steps up he’d still be a great bench utility...imo I’d be fine with giving Siro a 3 year deal maybe even a 4th CO

I forgot about Sironens ball playing ability, it is quite good he even played some 5/8 for us back in the day. Could really keep the opposition guessing if used correctly.
He’d be the perfect replacement for matterson in my eyes...whether he’s playing on and edge/lock/halves he’ll deliver...a second row combo of Lucy/Siro/Blore has a lot more balance then having garner Instead of Siro however in an ideal world I’d be forcing manly to
Take MCK so we can keep garner ahaha

I thought Sironen was Injury prone too but he only missed two games this year. 3 tries 3 try assists and 106 running metres a game.

Garner 17 games 6 tries 0 try assists 87 metres a game, with some poor defending there too

Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but for Wests Tigers, Sironen is the better fit. We need consistency, defensive improvements and guys who’ll do the tough stuff. Sironen fits that mould a lot better than Garner I feel.

Your points make a point!!But not sure either are the step forward we need...?Both underdeliver IMO

Imo siro is a upgrade as he’s more likely to be picked every week. If not run on he’s on bench. Garner on the other hand if not selected in run on I’d struggle to play him off the bench

Gerard Condon on SEN with Jimmy Smith yesterday check the podcast

Condon believes Grant’s management is looking to secure him a deal of close to $800,000 a season over five years.

“Right at the moment his management is deep in discussions about a long-term contract,” he added.

“I would suggest probably four or five years, and I would say growing to around $800,000 a year.”

Grant's future at the Storm is still uncertain with Cameron Smith undecided on his 2021 plans.

I think it’s an improvement, not a major one but an improvement nonetheless so we should go for it.

I really don’t get why we would want siro back,

Siro Snr is in large part why I am a Tiger Junkie,

I don't think younger Siro would be seeing any move to the Tigers as anything but a contract / Career extension.

This is precisely the type of recruitment decision that has found in this predicament at the tail end of 2020 were we aren't the "Destination" club.

We need to be a club that players aspire to join and then work hard.

Smith clearly wants to play on . It would be too easy for him to say he’s retired from the game now .

If it wasn’t for Harry he’d be signed on with the storm already .

The Storm could afford to lose Brandon Smith but not Harry Grant .

I think if Cam plays on next year it will be with the Titans, so the Storm don’t lose HG and BS.

sironen was such an underperformer when he was here initially- he had huge wraps on him when he came into first grade and regularly disappointed.
i would rather the team kept garner rather than recycle sironen.

so because he underwhelmed 7 years ago we should ignore him now that he's a more rounded player because....?

Stalin would be good for morale. He was quite the practical joker from what I've read and heard.

Maybe we up the Simpkin money a bit and he comes on at 9 and Grant goes to lock. Melbourne stockpiled Brandon and Cameron Smith for a number of years why can't we

We have to give Simpkin a go and keep him away from Brisbane or anywhere else if he is good

Siro is multitudes better than Garner! Its not close. I'd take Siro for sure lol. I can't see why not. He isn't the best sure but he is much better than Garner or whoever else.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles has added real backline speed for next season after securing two of the best young wingers in the NRL.

The Sea Eagles have signed Christian Tuipulotu on a four-year deal and have followed it up with the signature of Jason Saab for three years. Both players become part of Manly’s top 30 squad for the 2021 season.

After securing a release from the final year of his contract with the Sydney Roosters, Tuipulotu commenced pre-season training with the Sea Eagles this week.
