I hoped this Mansour rubbish had been put to bed, ridiculous signing if true I can’t find any upside whatsoever. In a years time we will be looking to get him off our books and paying freight.

We have so many other players who can take that other wing spot I just don't see why we would go for a Mansour/Nofo combination. Any good half would have a field day kicking cross field to either side of our backline - no height whatsoever.

Alternatively if he is coming so that we bring Laurie, Madge may just be using him for his leadership during pre-season/training and have no intentions of playing him in first grade (of course probably would still tell him he's going to be able to earn a spot)

I see it that way too. If Mansour is coming to play nrl then I think we’ve seen the last of Nofa. I hope we got Laurie and Crichton out of the deal? And not just early Laurie and subsidised Mansour? Laurie would have been lucky to get a game at Panthers in 21.

I agree that he’s not as quick as he used to be but his defensive tackle efficiency is at 81%, Nofa by comparison is 69%. The average for first grade wingers in the NRL is 74%.

The Sauce would bring us some stability and crafty options on our left edge attack, so I’m all for it if he signs.

I don’t see why it would? A player should know when younger players are putting pressure on them. If anything would not sit right it’s having your coach claim that your handshake means nothing. So how do you move from $500k to get closer to $800k without some feathers getting ruffled? 😝

Signing Mansour doesn’t seem to make any sense.

Look we do need an extra winger, but I don’t see him coming here to play reserves which means one of our young fellas will be missing out. Only positive might be getting Laurie

If Mansour does comes here I would not be guaranteeing him a first grade start.

I couldn't its a backward step in every way.Mansour will be holding players back not only for 2021 but every other year the slug is signed for.By the end of next year we will be trying to offload him and paying for him out ot of our cap.Terrible signing

Isn’t Mansour on big money at Penrith? Doubt they throw in more than half. We’d be paying a decent amount if we got him.
