Good observation.
It's what you put in prior to season start that does define your season.

We lost both Games to them last season.
We play them Round 6 & 16 we need to at least WIN one of these games this season and certainly more motivation if playing against Benji, can hear the build up already.

Good to see thrown a lifeline by the Rabbits and gets to play his last season at another Club again after saying he would never play for another club lol

No way I am playing Reggie’s at the Tigers .. so desperate will play Reggie’s for the Rabbits , go figure .

Hope it’s true and he plays against us, BJ can run straight over him in attack, and in defense hold a straight line and watch Benji jam their centre and wing up, game plan set

Just as an aside , has anyone noticed how poorly a lot of clubs have recruited . It’s the Titans at number 1 for me , and then honestly us at number 2 , followed by the dogs and warriors , then it’s crickets to anyone else . It’s surprised me how little some clubs did to improve , especially the ones at the bottom.
I think the sharks , dragons , cowboys , are in for long years . They have definitely gone backwards **. Also sneaky gone backwards ..... the panthers ! They’ve lost Tetevano and Tamou . Both big metre eaters for them , and they’re hoping Eiso picks up the slack apparently . I know they have stars , but that’s some holes to fill.**

Yes losing the front row that took them to the GF is a big blow, not to mention losing a good up and comer like Hetherington also! I know they still have the likes of Fisher-Harris, Yeo & Kikau in their pack, but it’s still a big loss for them up front, especially if they are relying on Eiso to fill that void! ?Despite what many people think, I believe they will miss Mansour also, he’s been the heart and soul of the club for a long time and he always put in.

The really weird one. Why did Souths pick up Mansour.
I took a look at their squad and realized they had a stack of depth including 4 wingers. https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/teams/ If so then they either have a stack of Injuries or Mansour has played his last game.

Thought it was a strange pick up too.Hes gotta beat Burns and Paulo to get a run on the wing...and frankly we'd take either of those!!

Wayne doesn’t rate Paulo, bagged him publically for inconsistent play last year.

I highly doubt Wayne would have publicly bagged out a 18 year old on a development contract

It was in a press conference after the Parra semi final game, when asked whether he was happy with Paulo’s game he said bluntly “well he hasn’t impressed me much until tonight” Wayne will call a spade a spade.

I was at Rabbitohs training this morning and Benji was the chatter from the players. Compared to how I saw the Tigers train this week, the Rabbitohs were horrible. Mansour was in the firsts team. Tatola in the reserves and Latrell looked like he needed to lose about 20kgs, did slot a nice FG from 62m out though.....

I reckon Rabbitohs are going to be specials to lead the two point field goals by seasons end. Ever since Greg Inglis attempted it, even before it was a thing mind you the team has been counting down the days to be able to put it to use. It’s also a Wayne specialty, we know how Wayne loves an edge!

Even if Laurie did come this year, I don’t know if we are in a position to blood him. I would rather him stay at Penrith personally and hope he gets a solid stint at fullback there to give him that experience before he gets here.

Reason being we have a rookie at hooker and we need to decide what is happening with our halves.

Will it be Doueihi/Brooks or Madden/Doueihi? If its the latter then you have two inexperienced halves and an inexperienced hooker. The last thing you need is an inexperienced fullback.

We have serious problems this year in my opinion but i hope im proved wrong.

Madden is inexperienced in 1st gde,but has huge experience as a junior representative,i think he will be fine.Doueihi will be reliable if not brilliant. I doubt the Panthers will be going overboard to give Laurie game time,and if you look at his playing statistics they are off the wall.Sooner or later you must play these guys,but a lot has changed in the whole side and it will take time to build combinations.I am very confident,and the coaching squad by now will have a fair idea who is ready and who is not. I also might be wrong and i hope i'm not.

There’s thousands of junior rep stars out there laying concrete, fixing your taps and building peoples homes. Do not underestimate the leap to NRL.

I get that,but you have to start somewhere.If it does't work back to CC and start again.You never know unless you give it a GO! You can't impress in the top grade unless your given a chance.The injection of some young blood wii do wonders for this side.

Im all for giving them a crack if the established guy above them is injured or not playing well. I’m just afraid that we might have too many on our roster to make the jump into the top eight. Hopefully I am the one whose wrong.

Also looks like maybe Jimmy is staying with Nof at the moment so good to see them building an off field relationship too
