Tpa's make the salary cap ineffective…..all tpa's for certain players should be negotiated with nrl and go through and extensive vetting process to see whether they are genuine. if the nrl wants a fair competition weaker clubs should be given a higher cap to negative the advantage of strong one team towns. In actual fact I believe there are only a few legitimate tpa's worth any substantial money. I mean who would want to sponsor a tool like jwh? Most of these are hastily arranged by the clubs to give them advantage over other clubs. Unless it's proven the company benefits from the toa's from said player it should be deemed support of the club.

How's Parra's form. Spent 800k on Moses, now they are in the hunt for Cronk. I wonder how poor Mitch feels about them being interested in Cronk. We all know how fragile his ego is.

Most think they left for Money… Even if they did get Cronk, he will still get paid.

I wouldnt be surprised if Parra are thinking about selling Norman. They know they will get top dollar for him, not having to carry any surplus in their Salary Cap.

It is an interesting scenario though, seeing how these club think in relation to player stocks. They believe Cooper Cronk is better than anyone in their squad, so are prepared to sacrifice yesterdays beliefs to gain the best talent.

Maybe Wests Tigers will start thinking this way now we have some coin? We have in the past been found way short on developing and keeping 'potential'.

Yes it seems Wests Tigers fans at least are happy with our fullback or halfback or hooker or backrow when it appears much better players come onto the market for whatever reason…

Sure, Moylan is a better player then Tui. But I don't think Penrith is exactly liking their fullback at the moment. Now if he has mental health issues, well that can occur to any player and he needs the time to get through them….. Yet I bet Penrith would have preferred Tui in the Semi's.

Who knows we may have already approached Cronk and were politely told thanks but no thanks. As much as we all love the tigers I’m sorry but there’s no way a player in cronks position with 2 years left at a new club would come to a team like ours that aren’t a competitive force….yet!!

We need to improve by getting results. We need to be a consistent finals club. Until then, Cronk and players of his calibre won't give us a second look.

Myth Piss is absolute pus at origin level but there's no denying he is a quality first grader. He soiled his family name by going to Easts in the first place.

As already mentioned, based on the clubs mentioned, someone is going to have to give up a decent half, of course unless it is Moses then I'd leave that germ out in the cold.

Cronk has bought a home in Mosman (which would suit him- he looks like a Mosman guy) . Mosman and the North shore types are a different type of rich guy to the Eastern Suburbs set. Anasta is soo Eastern Suburbs .
Having said that it’s very quick access from Mosman into the Bridge and into WestsTigers territory
