I think we we still do need another prop .. with Woods and Ava gone, I see Anthony Cherrrington is still available from Souths. I believe the guy carries a few off field suitcases filled with luggage .. but hey unless we get a prop out of the World Cup teams, there ain't too many big guys left. Papers have us looking at the pommy back up front rower Alex Walmsley .. any thoughts on him .. he's big, clummsy, but is he any good .. ??

Matulino, Packer, Twal, Sue, Grant, Eisenhuth, Rochow, Felise…we don't particularly need another prop. If we were going to go after one what we are lacking is impact props. Walmsley plays as a big minute metre-eater and doesn't really fill that role well.

But that's just it President Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, the Chooks have the paper work to prove he's only only $150K, but how much $$ is in the BPB ?? TPP's are not included in the salary cap, so he could be getting an extra Mil for all we know. We need a top 30 so, we'll see 2 more signings. Wether that's just 2 ISP players getting promoted or 2 completely new signings is something we'll have to wait and see.

I think we really need to wait.
Roosters are offloading props, Canterbury still have cap issues. We seem to have hired a lot of backrowers too see who will step up. We have a lot of front rowers, we even have a little depth in the halves. Probably lacking in the fullback stakes with only Tui, but that's fine.

What we have seen is that when a rush of players enter the market, we can get a good deal. Reynolds is an awesome 5/8 and his price is good. But I am sorely regretting not signing Cronk, Pearce, Maloney or one of the great halves that are on the market now.

Cronk in particular would be the one player we should have gone for. Our season would rest on him, but he would impart that positional organisation from Melbourne. It would mean Brooks accepts a bench spot.

We should save our pennies and wait.

Off the top of my head, naiqama, Thompson, MWZ, Suli, Milne all have first grade experience on the wing. I’d love to have addo-Carr and vunivalu on the wing over them, but we have decent depth on the wing.

I reckon we should go hard to get Corey Oates for 2019\. Can be difficult to get players to leave Brisbane, but worth a try, especially if we still have some coin to spend.

Milne would have to be a serious option for the wing position with his showings in the world cup.
