I see Hastings as being a good #14.
But I think in the halves we need somebody with a bit more attacking flair. Doueihi and Johnson has the potential to be a very good combination.

From what I've seen of Madden in NSW Cup he isn't First Grade standard. Happy to be proven wrong but I don't think he's the answer.

I have to agree with this, I don’t think he is up to NRL standard just yet but fingers crossed he has a cracker.

No idea how they'll throw him on. You can't just throw him in at halfback or 5/8 midway through a game and he's not a dummy half. Just don't see how it works

Of course they will, Reynolds signed for “less money” than the Sharks offer. NRL needs a strong Broncos, they get the same favours as unnamed clubs based around Bronte.

Whatever is happening with Brooks and Mbye needs to be sorted out asap. They can't rely on Hastings to be the answer as he has no track record of that over here. Unless they have great faith in Jock, which we'll get a chance to see in coming weeks.

They are the true moneyball club of the NRL. They buy players not wanted at other clubs and turn them into decent squad players.

The have outperformed for years with this model.
