No ...because Morris was still a good player ...you have to remember Brett was playing that well he was asked to come out of representative retirement ......Kev played exactly how many rep games ...played how many NRL games ...scored how many NRL tries ......

The good thing is that Wests Tigers have free spots on their rosters immediately, This means that should a deal be struck for 2022, a player in the final year of his contract may be granted a release.

Oh we’re back to talking about Kev again. As I said at the start, I do not want us to sign him and I don’t think we will. Hodgson is a class player and I could understand his signing if we do go down that path.

Oh we’re back to talking about Kev again. As I said at the start, I do not want us to sign him and I don’t think we will. Hodgson is a class player and I could understand his signing if we do go down that path.

I'm unsure about Hodgson ...so is Ricky Stuart ......and the the jury is still out on Liddle .....Simpkin is a good player in the wrong era

If we'd signedMorris 2 years ago like the Roosters did ...he'd still have been the standout centre at the club .......got your answer

We have Noffa to blame for that.

We should be after Curtis Scott before Naiqama surely. Definitely worth the risk on a cheap contract

Naiqama has genuinely been playing better than Curtis Scott - he's also a much better bloke. Scott is a piece of trash.

I'd rather neither. We shouldn't be this desperate for a centre for next season at this point it's bad roster management

We are though. AD any Tommy are gone for the foreseeable future, MCK is no longer there. As it stands our only options are AJ coming back from an ACL, JTJ who was underwhelming in 2021, and Peachy because we only have the first two as options. Wouldn’t hurt to have another option.

He doesn't have many other options in Sydney - Not to play NRL anyhows.... Roosters maybe.
But literally, A former NRL player is moving back to Sydney at an age where he probably has something to offer...
So the paper has linked him to clubs that could afford a roster spot in his position/s. Seems like pure speculation to me.

That said - I would literally prefer him over any of our current centres or wingers,
As ordinary as he is, He's better than what we've been trotting out.
I reckon he'd go OK on the wing for us.

November 1 will run like this… We will be linked with everyone for 2023 and sign no one telling the world we are a development club and that we are keeping spots on the roster for whomever shakes free due to cap restraints after the rest of the league has made their moves.

Kevie could do a job, but heaven help us if this is the level of player we are talking to. I guess the logic is, a stop gap till a kid is ready but we are desperate for a player or two to give us at least some chance in 2022. As it stands now we will need Devine help to avoid the spoon

Absolutely. Anyone that even mentions him in a serious capacity should be immediately expelled from the organisation. No matter who it is, if this is their thinking then they've got no place in our football department.
