Twal could always play lock as I see a future there for him around the right pack with Blore and Papalili as our back towers
Future is looking brigh, if everything goes to plan.

Could very well be our pack in 2023 onward.
Pending any other comings and goings.
The future does look very bright if everything goes well ofc but I’d personally like Peachey off the bench as he bring such impact/pace and versatility and move Twal to lock…. which gives Thompson to start at prop next to Stefano and only have to pay a little as dogs will chip in, just remember they valued him at 800k at one point

I think Twal is and always has been a prop.
Not many clubs play a prop at lock these days and it's shifted towards a creative, ball playing lock.

Cotric seems like he’s on his way to Canberra but will probs still need to move more with all the big names they’ve signed.
We were linked to Luke Thompson strongly not long ago, he’s on 800k at the dogs, I think we should go for him hard as he’s a damn good player he was practically on his own at the dogs and still held his own. They’ll chip in a bit just to give there cap some breathing space, offer to pay 500-550k which I strongly feel like they’ll accept to ship him off.
He’s 26 as well and English forwards age like fine wine, Sheens will know first hand what he can offer as he was THE MAN in the super league and dominated as a young kid and was one of the best forwards in the league with huge potential.
Sam Burgess and James Graham did the same thing and I really do see some sort of similar uprise from Thompson as he matures.
He’s already a work horse with huge motor and great defence and toughness who can develop along with Stefano and Papalili for our future.
Stefano and Thompson as our front row pairing would be dynamic - I think talks should be resparked especially with there latest signings

Seems fair I do agree in parts, I think Twal has the potential to be a ball playing work horse lock a bit like Yeo

Where was the article with Sheens extending Stef?
I’m not doubting you, I would like to read the article too.

Twal plays a very basic defensive game and that's about it....
Needs to add a lot to his game to become a ball playing lock, IMO.
Big fan of him though.
No nonsense.
Does his job (front row) almost perfectly.

I think he should be one of the absolute weapons of the NRL.
To me he lacks the aggression and Speed.

Thompson would be good, But he isn't an 800K player.
