That’s the only issue is the money that Thompson’s on not sure what we offered on our end but Dogs would have to chip in more than 100K if they really want Thomson off the books we do need another Prop to help Stefano and I think he does want to come to the Tigers probably due to Gildart being here but Dogs 100% gotta chip in more

Biggest one available now is Paulo, Matterson can go elsewhere don’t want him back here and Kafusi could be an option if we are trying for another Parra player

I could not care less how unhappy he is at the dogs he is getting a reported 850-900k pa roughly about twice what he is worth imo.Let him stay at the dogs as he is going to spend a lot of time on the sidelines due to his lack of discipline and thuggery style of play imo.

RCG and Paulo pretty good starters - maybe this year you could argue he should have started over RCG. Another one the Dolphins will probs be targeting if they are smart.

I’d love him here , but would be paying around $500k with the dogs subsidising the rest.

My son is in the bulldogs under 14 development squad. They had training at Belmore today followed by watching the first grade team train (Luke Thompson was there). Interesting to see Barrett and even Phil Gould there. Barrett had almost nothing to do in the training session but pave up and down. Interesting to see how important the trainers are and assistant coaches as they were heavily involved.

That's awesome.
Hopefully he goes as far as he wants within the sport !

Hopefully seeing him play for the Cedars someday soon my brah.

I wrote that last night after many beers.
My info is very dodgy and for all i know it could be just old Papali’ news, as it comes from someone who know FA about NRL at a BBQ.

At my family Xmas party BBQ chat yesterday. My brother is a Parra supporter and a cousin (who is an AFL supporter but does know someone connected to the WTs) He was telling us the Tigers had signed a Parra player.
We (my brother -Parra supporter and I said) “yeah Papali’i.
Unfortunately this guy know FA about NRL. “ said, hmm not sure it that was the name. It was polynesian though. Me and my brother started drilling him. I said “was it Paulo” ect. he wasn’t sure. Said it sounded more Islander than that.
Anyway DT journalist have run articles on less than this., I’m holding out some hope at it was someone other than Papali’i.
