We need to extend Hastings now, also does the club ask Hastings who he wants to partner him in the halves Douhie or Brooks and move from that point.

We hopefully sign him but he doesn't get to pick the team. Douiehi has to come back and prove himself. Brooks has to prove his worth every game he plays.

I think it becomes about Financial sensibility once we see how these three combine and steer our team around the park in the second half of the season.

The most valuable to the team needs to be $$$ accordingly.

Bird has played 56
Keeping in mind - Liddle wasn't even first choice for quiet a bit of time over that period.

I think injuries don't seem as worrysome when our club isn't paying for them...
If he were that injured here, We'd think a whole lot more for it.

That said, I'm certainly not against the signing - He's class and we don't have a lot of it.
We just need to be smart about it....
