It's going to be interesting who IC signs this year. Does he sign more players like he did last season or does he change tactics and sign players like Moses Mbye around the 23 to 26 years old.

Cleary has history going with signing players with heap of experence . Think brent tate, and price.

Not sure who would be equivalent for these times

Thaiday :roll

The left field play is the Gus / Griffin feud sees Grffin leaving and Gus saying how wrong he was about Ivan and how much he would love him back at Penriff to coach his son to GF win.

This ^^^^^
Then Gus gets the best of both worlds

Do not see Ivan the type of person to walk out on the club and let the players club and fans down he has to much self respect to much pride and I don't think he would ever be scared of hard work or doing the heavy lifting
I think he enjoys working hard

I reckon after last weekend he'll be tired of repeating himself.

Cleary has already stated his strategy to turn over the roster in 2-3 years. The vast majority will be players signed for 2020 and 2021 seasons onwards.

The way I see it is we will finish 9-11th this year, top 8 in 2019 and challenge for the premiership 2020 onwards for a decade.

We need the COE to be built and build our memberships and off field revenue. To a point where we attract talent. Most coaches with this roster would be running bottom 4.

Give it 4 weeks!

Indeed. We've won 3 more games than the dogs . And some are happy.
Bizarro world.

Hope not. I have more faith in the club currently probably since Sheens was appointed. We have been a basket case on and off the field since 2013 something long term has to be put in place not just buying a team to win now but setting up long term success. Panthers are probably the best example.

I had faith when Potter was here and Moses, Brooks and Tedesco looked likethe next big things.
I see nothing at the club at the moment.

We are not challenging for a premiership anytime soon but this side is outperforming the rabble we had with Woods, Teddy, Moses and Brooks for the last 3 years.

The next two off seasons are the biggest in the clubs history since Sheens was appointed in 2004\. Sheens set the club up well for close to a decade for our standards we we’re never far away from finals. I’m hoping Cleary can do the same with us he has history in getting the job done.

It didn't work out well but at tbut e time it looked promising. Young blokes that looked like they had the world at their feet. We've got no one like that now.
Solid first graders is the best we got. I don't see where the optimism comes from except blind faith.

I have faith in the coach. We also have locked up our pathways from Concord to the Southern Highlands. I like the long term strategic approach.

Our last 2 months of footy have been poor which is the case when the whips start cracking our lack of talent shows. Effort can’t win games against better teams on paper when they are desperate. Sadly even the Titans, Raiders have more talent.

Finish strong? I honestly can't see us winning another game at all!

I miss the days of finishing 9th-10th under Sheens. At least it’s respectable I hope we don’t drop our heads and lose every game.

What's news on the pathways front? I really need something to cling to atm.
