Hoppa has been all class. Very silky.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Elliot looks like a Jackson clone.

I agree, Elliot does look good. He's determined, possesses some ball skills and, also, has a feisty attitude which I like! Regarding Hoppa, yes, he'd be a sensible signing for the centres, especially if Milne falls through….

Milne won't fall through. Wouldn't say no to Hoppa in the centres though.

I'd only go near Hopoate if he agrees to play on Sundays. Full respect to his religious beliefs, but with the amount of Sunday games we play, we can't afford to have a bloke sit out just about every week.

In saying that he looked brilliant at the back for the dogs today. Showed some glimpses of his former self.

Very confident on Milne, Willow.

Do you expect it to be mid-season, as initially indicated?

We need some real speed, after Teddy went off tonight, except for Brooks we looked very slow. We need a quick no1 and a quick winger

I'm one of his biggest critics but Hoppa was good tonight. I'd want to see him back that up for a few weeks though before i'd be prepared to sign him up.

He is now the most overrated Elliot goes hard but he's undersized and lacks speed and power on an edge.
Good depth player but ET is in the side we need to steer clear of toilers.

Will he play Sundays?

Adam Elliott from the Dogs had a great game tonight .. he's a back rower but showed some speed and foot work out wide when he ran in between the centres. They said he is off contract for next next season, he'd be worth a shot at i reckon .. !! :bulb:

I watched some highlights of Lolohea - he is strong and pretty damn quick with awesome feet. Can play just about anywhere in the backline. I reckon he would be fantastic at the tigers.

I would suggest we don't put players forward based on one game. Jarryd Hayne suddenly gets positive press on here after tonight's performance, same with Elliott.

I agree with TYGA he's too small, I've been watching him all year, he's a go-er but at this stage not special. For all the talk of guys like Ava being "replaceable", Elliott is a mediocre replacement IMO.

Hoppa almost broke the all time metres run record tonight. 308 metres half a dozen tackle breaks and off loads was a performance for the ages.

I copped flack for suggesting hoppa and kasiano, same people now praising them. As always the analytics come through. Got to put ur personal emotions and bias to the side.

Kasiano is exactly what he is. A devastating career bench player. He would be a great signing if people on this forum would realise what he is instead of saying what he isn't.

As for hoppa, I've always been a big fan of his. Showed his class tonight. Would be a great replacement for teddy or to fill centre.
