Hopefully this week sometime.
@ said:When it comes to a replacement fullback it is important to consider what attributes do we need? Now we won't get a fullback as complete as Tedesco (athough even he is not perfect - particularly positioning..), but we can get someone who is as good as him in certain areas of the game.
Question is what do we need? A safe defensive fullback? Powerful running game? Play making out the back? Goal kicking? Kickoffs/dropouts? Organiser? etc

We've got at least one of them. Not sure if Russell has made up his mind yet.

@ said:I'd be more than happy with Jack Wighton. Bit better than "fairly average" in my opinion.

In terms on NRL fullbacks I think he is average. I'd have Teddy, Boyd, Slater, Inglis, Dugan, Hayne, Moylan and Coote in front of him, Munster as well. If there are 6-8 better fullbacks that would make him avaerage.
Not knocking the guy at all just saying he is no superstar but he plays his part in a strong team.

I for one dislike playmaking fullbacks. Yes a pass here and there is good, but i like then bobbing up in the middle getting offloads or running into gaps.
All depends on how brooks goes next year.
