Why are people talking about singing a halve i thought we had 6/7 who could play in that position hence why we are letting Benji go.
So as far as I am concerned that’s one of the last positions we need to fill,after all it’s about balancing our squad isn’t it

We have many 6/7 that can play in that position - how many of them are worth a bean.

It's like using public transport instead of buying a Ferrari. Think I'll take the Ferrari myself.

Know what you are saying and I get it but you didn’t answer my question what path do we take.A lot of the names you have put forward are good maybe but not proven long term

What are we talking here 30 year old play maker like Green, Pearce or Johnson.

I'm not - I'm talking a good play maker that has quite a few years left, Burton, Clifford, Dearden, Fogarty etc. They all have more than potential.

I like all those, especially Burton. But I fear we make the same mistake as we have with Moses and Brooks over the years. No older Mentor just to show them patience and building pressure. Brooks isn't up to that role. Burton I think would be a huge buy. I have some contacts around the lower grades at Penrith and they really rate him. Good enough for me....... but same issue. Need an older head...

Garner, aged 25, has been a consistent performer for the Tigers this season, playing 16 top grade games.

The Dubbo-born second-rower or centre has another two years on his deal at Concord but coach Michael Maguire is believed to be prepared to release him as he sets about rebuilding the Tigers' roster.

I can't stand Chad Townsend or his hair, but that type is exactly what we need at number 6. Not a 7. Someone who is VERY process driven, unflash, robotic.

Doesn't mean I want Chad Townsend, just that type. Ungifted, but relies on repetition of process.

That's literally Brooks, except he's 25 not 29 and not an organiser. It really is the last thing we or needs for that matter.
