Liddle has more talent than Harry Grant... Lids has just been injured that's all... big difference in how he provides service... very noticeable... Harry is a good player but I wouldn't say he is better than Liddle... both has strengths and I would back Liddle instead of Harry

Agree Mate - I think he has more talent than Grant as well.

Grant is a better defender, Liddle a better DH and neither have a kicking game at this stage.

If we got Grant, I would be keeping Liddle and getting rid of Simpkin if one of them had to go.

Maybe but Harry has ticker, he's a winner, has football sense and leadership. He's priority No 1 for me, even before JAC

We had Harry this year without speed in the backline and where did it get us? Harry is great don’t misunderstand but what Wests Tigers lack is speed. Outside backs with speed is an absolute no. 1 priority if we want to play finals footy.

I’d put speed as our #3 priority
#1 forwards who can get a roll on
#2 players with the right defensive attitude

We need to be able to win a game 14-6

BIG statement....

Before we signed Liddle I read an article saying literally every other club was trying to sign Liddle

But he signed with us so I think 15 other clubs knows how much talent he has

We've been lucky to have two of the finest hooker forwards in the NRL. There is no need to denigrate the talent of Liddle because truthfully many NRL clubs including the Broncos, Titans, Cowboys, Canterbury, Manly, Warriors and possibly Dragons would love to have Liddle. The Dragons paying Hunt to plaY hooker for $1m pa would crawl over broken glass to get Liddle at less than half that cost. So please just enjoy the fact we had quality in one position. The presence of Grant has put the WTs on the map as a viable destination for the best young talent.

Liddle is average

Don’t think he is better than Grant but he is much better than average imo. Good passing from the ground; quick out of dummy half. Not sure about his kicking game

Basing it off footy what’s Liddle done not much

I know Liddle hasn't played 53 games for Australia nor 35 SOO for the Bananabenders like Harry Grant.

However I can offer that Liddle has played 43 NRL games to Grants 17 NRL games.

I can also add Liddle has a 94.7% tackle efficiency to Grants 91.8%.

And did nothing apart from being injured.

I see some have a emotional attachment to him but basing on facts his done nothing with his time as yet

People on this forum really don’t let stuff go.... not everyone is Adam Blair or Rob Jennings.

I’m not even sure who would he considered a good player lol you have to be in a crap team and perform good to count as good I think ?

It’s fairly simple

JAC is an elite player who will instantly improve any team he goes too

Graham is an average player who won’t improve a team like ours one tiny bit, I would honestly prefer Momirovski to him. He is the exact player we need to steer clear of

CG is light years ahead of Momirovski. I’d take him if he was available, he’d be our best centre since the early day of Chris Lawrence.

Let’s calm down a little. He’s had a very good finish to the year, helped a whole heap by Cody Walkers insane form.

Let’s see CG do it for all of next season.

When Liddle plays longer than 30 minutes a game and has a full season in FG under his belt, then we may be able to have a comparison to not only Grant, but also every other hooker going around. Until then Grant is miles ahead.

The best teams are a mixed bag that can be broken down into 3 parts, normally a big, mobile pack, a spine that is a good spread of talent and composure and some class and speed out wide. We have ground to make up in all three areas.

Forwards- were way off the pace when u look at the top 4 teams
Spine - we have some good players but lacking composure
Backs - quite good but need that blinding speed merchant

JAC and two world class forwards are what we need to take that jump up the ladder.

Harry Grant will demand big dollars pretty soon .. maybe that's what the Titans are trying to offer .. we'll be ok with Liddle and young Simpkins coming through .. !!

I can see Cam Smith retiring at seasons end, and Harry Grant staying at Melbourne .. Storm's problem is with Brandon Smith, they'll have to offer him bigger dollars to stay with them as a bench player, or another club will pick him up .. !!

We should do everything possible to pick him up as a 13.

I actually think B Smith is a pretty average hooker. But an absolutely elite 13.

Josh Rizk in before Cini. I've watched Cini and for me he is a centre but needs to work overtime on his defence like. ET did. Rizk is a quick and strong player whom could play anywhere in the outside backs.

You couldn’t lose swapping him for Reynolds (who is unlikely to play first grade) I suppose.

The problem is Moylan has another year on his contract. If it's a one year swap you'd take it no questions asked. We should run from Moylan unless the additional year is in our favor.

I wouldn't touch Moylan with a toilet brush.
