bloody hell have we signed both of them?! Solomone is a front rower by trade but is apparently quick enough and mobile enough to play in the centres and out the back. he's a huge get. massive for us.

Your observations have me excited on this one.

Anyone know how long Schuster is signed with Manly, he came out a few weeks back and said if Foran plays 6 he wants out. Surely at some point Foran switches to 6 to save the defensive workload. Schuster would be a great ball playing lock at some pointdown the track

Foran is playing hooker ........ apparently.?

That will test his shoulders
Wont last a game

Yoss said a few weeks back that we'd signed his brother Api who's a very good player in his own right, but Solomone is the bigger prospect. good to have them both on board.

I hope we have had discussions with Chricton if Easts are looking to let him go and get him with subsidy. We lost Rowdy last year, Garner hasn't kicked on and Lucy is the only guy there who walks into our second row. I'd like to see Sammy Mac in at lock. Short on quality in the second row.

funny thing with Garner is that his 2019 season was fantastic and his combo with Brooks was firing

its weird

Something else I can't understand @TheDaBoss, is early this season McIntyre clobbered a couple of blokes with solid, aggressive but legal tackles in 1 game, then it never happened again. Why not?
Same with Packer making Matterson see stars in a hard legal tackle, but didnt reproduce that aggression again.
Why not?
We've needed dominating forwards for a long time, but only saw it in a couple of games over the whole season.

I’m keen to see how our 20’s go next season now. Shame they couldn’t play this year they would’ve gone good I reckon

McIntyre laid some solid textbook tackles late in the season, it's just very hard to put shots on when the team is going backwards. Players also recognise other players that can lay hits, opposition players avoided him more as the season went on. If we tighten the defence next year I expect we will have a couple appearances in the big hits reel, especially with a fully fit Musgrove and Blore running around.

Here's some highlights from the semi, featuring a few of our youngsters. Tannous for Hills, and Guyan and the two Saukuru boys. The young barnstorming centre got a great late double to win the game for Westfield

Gee he can play the one at centre. Big unit but mobile too

So both brothers are big units, standing about 193cm tall and of Fijian background. Bulldogs will be filthy as we poached both of them away!

Think they poached a few of ours too haha fairs fair. Charlie Lennon is with them now pretty sure he was one of ours? Same as Cameron Lawrence but I think the brothers are better

Both had issues with concussion across the season following that too. I don't know much about dealing with concussion but could that have affected them?

I really like watching defence when there is good solid contact. Having more than one hitter in the team will be good.

I watched the schoolboy highlights Westfields v Hills. I watched also Daine Laurie and it was like chalk and cheese. The play in the schoolboy game dominated by size. Laurie using pace, skill and evasion. Not hard to guess which I preferred.

Jake Wardle (Huddersfield) or Harry Newman (Leeds) are the 2 that I would like to see move over too the NRL/Wests.

I can't see it being Newman though as he suffered a leg break a couple of weeks back.

Yea I like Wardle. He has a few raps on him for a young player.
