BJ is going to have enormous pressure on him to perform with all the right centre options we have.

Sounds like we’re going to have more centres playing wing again this year with Kei, Hoffman, Talau, Momo, AJ, BJ all best in the centres.

BJ has copped a lot of flack on here but what people forget is that he joined very late in the pre season as fat as a house. I think he'll be back tothe old BJ next season.

He wasn’t as bad as made out, the brain snaps were terrible but aside from that when he was in the side he had a big part in Nofa’s best ever season.

For the long term future of WTs, we want Talau at right centre next year.

He’s the future sure, but we can’t have AJ and Talau in the same team at this stage of their development. Too many errors.

Jimmy might beat them both to right centre.

BJ should be a Magpie all year.

When BJ is on song he has some good ball playing qualities and extremely hard to stop when he rampages , Benji was partof his undoing last year as well as some stupidity , he is better than a cc player

That is the issue, when he is on song. Too often he isn't and Ricky was over him. Talau represents our future next year and I hope he has a big off season ready to take that position.

The daily telegraph - Michael Carayannis

Wests Tigers are also considering making a play for a Curtis Sironen homecoming as part of a potential swap deal between Manly and Sironen’s former club.

The move could mean Sironen returns to the Tigers which would allow disgruntled prop Josh Aloiai to switch to the Sea Eagles immediately. The Tigers are steadfast in their belief they will not release Aloiai unless they find a suitable replacement and expect him back at training on November 30.

Tigers back-rower Luke Garner could also be part of any trade deal although Tigers officials are adamant he will fulfil the final two years of his deal.

Sironen is off-contract at the end of next year and it is understood the Sea Eagles would consider an opportunity for the 27-year-old to return to the Tigers on a long-term deal.

The Sironen name is synonymous with the Tigers after Curtis’s dad Paul was a star at the club in the 1980s and 1990s.

This would be perfect. We need that type of back rower.

Agreed. And I'm not defending it, but his brain snap that led to his suspension and people calling him our 'worst signing' was the result of a dog shot on his brother.

That may be true, but I believe that moment was the turning point in our season and it went downhill from there.
I’m not saying he was the reason we let another season slip but it all started with his brain snap!!!!
He’s a liability more than an asset.

I’m being told by one of my warriors mates that Israel Ogden will be joining our dev squad. 20 year old fullback for their NSW cup side

Manly is complicit in creating this mess around Aloiai, so they need to come to the party in facilitating sufficient recompense. The Silvertail grubs have stunk things up, so if there’s a player of theirs we’re interested in, and it’s mutual, then Manly need to cough up. We’re short on edge forwards so I don’t mind swapping out a prop, and as The POM said the Aloiai situation in untenable, he’s become toxic. Sironen, Schuster happy with either of those two. Blore to play lock.

SMH in one article says Laurie is a done deal and has been denied a release, then they say his manager is about to ask for a release, now the latest article says he’s ‘close’ to agreeing terms for 2022

Which one is it 😂

Which ever one gets the most clicks.

Siro would be good for us if he could bring his Manly form and not his TIgers form. Desperately need a right edge second rower and he is damn good when on the park - injury prone but guess just need to cross the fingers he gets a clean run.

BJ will be there in 2021 Paws as much as you don't want him to be.

Losing Benji will be like unchaining the BJ we know and love.

So would everyone prefer a Siro or Sitili tupouniua . He’s off contract the end of 2021 I rate him as a real good 2nd row player? I get we may be able to get Siro early but if we don’t and they’re both of contract 2021 who would use prefer we went for?
(If it was possible to pick one of them up that is)

No thanks, he is a downhill skier.

Doesn't run good lines or run hard, avoids any dirty work and injury prone. His father has also had a bit to say about our club.

Would prefer Keppie, Titmuss or Olakau'atu

Did you watch him last year? He was awesome, even just against us. Ran very hard lines. I would love him back on 2020 form.

Probs Sitili though I can't see him coming to the Tigers - and with Cordner's concussion issues I'd be suprised if Roosters let him go. Siro coming home will also provide us with some positive PR for a change!

I doubt it also but would be a good buy if we could get him. I always liked siro, but did he have a fall out with the club before he left or was that someone else? I honestly can’t remember ay aha

Was thinking, now that we have speed in the centres in JJ .. he can partner either TT or AK and we can move (try) JL in the back row with his brother LL .. ?? Thoughts .. ?? (JJ =Jimmy Jet .. TT = Tommy Talau .. AK = Asu Kepaoa .. JL = Joseph Leilua .. LL = Luciano Leilua) That way we dont need Siro Jnr.

He did but that was mostly with Jason Taylor I believe. His Dad did also at that time though seems to have mended it starting with Ivan Cleary era (who obvs left us in a bad place with our roster but seems to have done some good work with getting ex tigers back on board with the club). WOuldn't suprise me if JT leavin and some time away has healed those wounds - though who knows aye
