Mbye’s only position in this team is 14.. this is a very important position as a game progresses do not underestimate the value he will be in that position!

agreed but regardless, M'Bye deserves to start the season at 1 even if Laurie turns up at the club for 2021. he's been here far longer and has every right to start the year in an established position.

Here's hoping for a very promising & successful 2021.

Couple Of Things:

Nofoaluma talks are progressing/promising, the sticking point is most certainly the 3/4 year deal side of things, club recently came back with a counter offer of a 4 year deal but the 4th year being in the clubs favor, this was submitted in the last couple days.

Madge/Club really liking the looks of young Allan Fitzgibbion, every chance of snagging a top 30 spot on minimum wage for 2021, only concern is attitude/application towards doing the extras needed but club surrounding with the right people to get him on track.

Panthers still not playing ball in relation to Laurie, but the club will keep a top 30 spot open for him till it has to be filled.

Remaining spot looking to go towards a utility forward/lock.

Mbye has had some discussions with clubs north of the border over the break & would like to move back to QLD but nothing solid yet to come from it. Also Walters to Brisbane talk won't go away, if that does eventuate the club will look for another utility half type for depth purposes, no names yet if this comes to fruition.

Also Cini still likely to leave the club but the spot would more likely be filled with a train & trial player like Tyrone Roberts-Davis

Any idea what the plan is for a backup fullback? Roberts-Davis could do it I guess if he gets a top 30 spot. How’s jimmy the jet looking for round 1? Thanks for the udaiye.

If Mbye injured/not performing Kepaoa has been doing some work with him at Fullback.

The Jet looking fit & happy, could be in for huge year. Really gelling with the team.

I am really pleased to see this. I really think JTJ could be a diamond in the rough for us if he keeps fit.

He is a solid player... the only reason people are upset at him is because we are paying big $$$... (thanks Ivan)
At the end of the day, it's not Mbye's fault. I'd take that payday also...

Having quality motivational sessions is not new, yet getting the right speakers is critical, especially in this day and age of swipe right and been there done that before they were even born! Back in the Day - I was one of the first UTS students to undertake the newly formed Olympic Studies Subject as an elective in my Post Grad studies. It was developed after Sydney's succesful Bid. WOW and WOW! We had ex Olympians provide their insights as guest speakers! Find the right person(s) who can press the right butttons and you will change behaviour. I never became a world record breaking 100m runner but I did become more confident in my abilities.

I think the trouble is (and I’m not sure why) but he hasn’t been able to nail down a position and as you said for the money he is on, it’s just not good enough.

But I do think he is a good 14 for us if he just wasn’t paid so much.

Ben Hunt is severely overrated but he’s better than Mbye imo
