I think the reason Brooks looked so good in the juniors was because he had Moses beside him. They were the yin-yang pair - Moses the 'hard'; barking orders, yelling and talking - Brooks the 'soft'; quiet and just playing his game.

They are both good players and complemented each other but you can't swap their roles.

Just caught this chestnut, I hope to god that this isn't true.If it is, the sackings should start at the top and work its way down to anyone that thinks its a good idea.

agree I think cleary treated Moses pretty ordinary to be honest.
If we could have kept Moses and Brooks who knows how we might have gone. Teddy was always going and Woods was just poorly advised but cleary pulled the Moses offer

My understanding was that Moses had a contract sitting on the table for a matter of months and he chose to sit and wait for something better and then his contract was taken off the table. Is there something Im missing? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if that's the case then it's hardly treating him like crap. He chose to carry on like an immature fool after his contract was taken off the table.

Someone in the team needs to say "I'm going after him all game" be an enforcer who whacks the halves everytime they get the ball and follows them everywhere.
The boys need to pick players out who they want to own all game. I wouldn't care if they lost as long as they smashed some blokes and made other players fear them.

How was he being smart with Moses? If someone's deliberately holding back on signing, why is pulling the contract a bad thing. No club should be held to ransom by any player, particularly a brat like Moses and his dodgy uncle/manager.

So we must have one of the youngest Spines in the NRL..

1 - Daine L - Approx 10 games
6 - Adam D - 56 Games
7 -
9 - Simpkin - 2 Games

Now looking at them we all see talent in them and give them a few years if we can build a nice team around them they will succeed... Now All that is missing is an Experience 7 as Brooks clearly is not the guy and you need at least 1 experience guy - ENTER Adam Reynolds - I truly think we should be going all out for him to help develop our spine and he alone would help attract others. You have a guy like that in the team that would take pressure off Adam and he can focus on been a running 6..

I am happy to give Madden a crack this year to see how he goes but you add him with the other 3 it would be extremely hard to win consistently. ALL team have experience players for a reason and hope we are at least looking at this option.
