Current squad and whether we should re-sign.
Tom Amone - Sure whatever he's on nothing and is a squaddie who cares.
Shawn Blore - We have him til the end of 2023. That's good for now. Happy with that.
Luke Brooks - We have him til the end of 2023. That's pretty lame but oh well.
MCK - Off contract. Bye MCK. (if nobody wants him and he takes min wage to be a squaddie maybe we keep him).
Zac Cini - Off contract. No brainer to re-sign. We're nuts not to have already frankly. Should offer him 2 years further and start playing him in first grade.
Adam Douehi - Signed til 2023. Fine.
Luke Garner - Signed til end of next year. Probs just keep an eye on his development.
Jackson Hastings - Signed til end of 2023. Ok.
Asu Kepaoa - Signed til end of next year. Meh. Would need big improvement next year to be re-signed imo.
Daine Laurie - Signed til end of 2023. Fine.
Joey Leilua - Signed til end of next year with reported get out clause for us. Exercise it. We need his money elsewhere.
Luciano Leilua - Also signed til end of next year. Extend now.
Jacob Liddle - Off contract this year. We appear to have put Simpkin as a priority. Some other club (Bulldogs probs) will outbid us and offer him a starting spot imo. Short odds to be the next in line to be added to the "how'd the Tigers let him go" list.
Jock Madden - Off contract at end of next year. Would look to extend tbh. He's looked great in reserve grade.
Moses Mbye - Off contract end of next year. $950k a year good lord how. Cleary needs to go to prison for theft.
Thomas Mikaele - Off contract. Jeez we better re-sign him cuz if we don't you just know he'll be next year's Isiah Papali'i.
Zane Musgrove - LOL we have him til the end of 2024. Better get used to it fam.
David Nofoaluma - Also end of 2024. No comment.
Joe Ofahengaue - Signed til end of 2023. *blows raspberries*.
Russell Packer - Off contract. Maybe he can find a contract with the Tabulam Turtle Divers or something. Get gone.
James Roberts - Off contract. Buhbye.
Alex Seyfarth - Off contract. Re-sign him. We won't find better at his price point. He has improvement to come.
Jake Simpkin - Re-signed til end of 2024. Good.
Tukimihia Simpkins - Signed til end of 2023. We shall see.
Tommy Talau - Off contract at end of next year. Needs improvement or I let him walk. By the time he'll be gone we'll have some pretty gun outside backs coming through like William Kei, Israel Ogden et al.
James Tamou - Off contract next year. Cents on the dollar to retire.
Alex Twal - Off contract next year. Probs re-sign him. Kinda meh on it though.
Stefano Utoikamanu - Signed til 2023. Probs should extend him to 2026 now. The big lad is a fiend.
Billy Walters - Gone soon.
So this year we'll be saying goodbye to Packer, Walters, Roberts and hopefully Joey Leilua. Possibly MCK, Mikaele Liddle, Cini and Amone. That's a fair chunk of cap tbh. Joey and Packer are both on hefty contracts.
