Storm , Cows and Tigers...
Storm obviously lower $$$ but someone said he doesn't really want to go to NQ so you would have to think if we put a pretty good offer on the table we might have a chance. But don't want to leave this too long as we all know what happens then.

People on here are saying we have no interest at all in him but media keep talking about it ??

Lets hope so and I would not be concerned about 3 years as he will have that in him still. People need to remember he was named in the SOO squad just 2 weeks ago and if the team had lost the 1st game he may of got into the 17 for the 2nd... I don't think the deal is anywhere near close to be done. There is a recruitment meeting at the club on Monday to consolidate where to next,

Are we happy to offer 3 years or are we stuck on 2? Are we offering around the asking or are we trying to get him for less?

That extra money/year might be the answer to getting the ball rolling and might not be the big deal as an individual transaction.

The player you break the bank on and play overs for needs to be a player that transforms the club, someone that makes the players around them better. Is Finucane that player? Probably not.

So In 20 odd years the Tigers have signed up 2 or 3 good players ? And the last one in 2010 ish ?

Signing guys like Hodgo, Pat Richards, Scott Prince, Shane Elford, paul whatuira are all good players. But yes it has been a while since we had a really good signing.

Reserve grade team

So really solid info there.

I have two nephews one is a Super talent but super lazy player just likes to score and the other who has signed a contract with a club
Who does not have as much natural talent but works his ass off loves the contact and hits like a truck and never misses a tackle and has a private lesson with an ex NRL player as a skills coach 1 day aweek

The second newphew is the one I got the info off good kid could make reserve grade one day

To be honest I don't know a lot around the Finucane negotiation, I know he is option but don't think the club thinks he will be worth his asking price over the term of the contract.

the manager backed away from a 4 year contract. I think its 2+1 PO from what someone said, so it's all about salary. You can assume its a 3 yr contract in DF's eyes though
