Watson has been linked to the Sharks. Fitzy the flop seems to have some pull when it comes to attracting players unlike our mob

They formed a relationship when Watson was coming through at the Roosters however it doesn't take away from the fact we couldn't attract a fly to a picnic.

Can't believe some of these posts. Signing Taylor, Milford or Watson on 500k would be madness. With Brooks on 850, Mbye 900, Doueihi 500 and Hastings say 400k that's a hell of a lot of money tied up in halves as it is. Got to offload some of them before we sign any more

AD I think we will see staying at centre Long term and I don't care what M'Bye is on, he shouldn't be playing first grade based purely on form. Watson isn't a half either. He's a ball playing lock, and a very good one

The way AD defends I’d say long term he moves another step in. Becomes a Wade Graham type back rower.

Lazy players are really exposed by the pace of the game - it's passed plenty of players by. The positive about players like Watson is his energy level is obvious and impacts immediately on others on the field. He is another utility player but he at least gives value on the field.

I'm sick to death of utility players like the next ...but Watson on 400-450 k ...isn't the worst option ....far better than Hastings

Wasn't a fan of Watson at all a couple of seasons back but he's a bit bigger and gotten tougher now. So I'd actually prefer him over Hastings too, but as you also have said, Hastings is coming, which pretty much means that Watson won't be on the radar.

Guys, I genuinely think this is worth putting a line through it. IMO it is pretty gutless and scandalous (not to mention defamatory & libelous) to state on a public forum that someone has been convicted of a thuggish crime when they havent and then when corrected, leave it out there that it is true.

It is simply not true and needs to be emphasised here.
