I see Harley Smith-Shields named in 21 for Raiders... Does anyone have an update on him as there was talk it was looking good? I just assume we missed him also

I heard Smith Shields was keen on us unless the Raiders came up with more. I think we offered a pretty good deal. There could be a lot more going on...I get my info from a player manager and it's only what he hears in respect of his own players. For example, Fletcher Baker's manager has approached a few clubs, WT included because the Roosters haven't offered him a lot of money and they think they can get more. My man also has a front rower looking for a job, and the clubs will throw Baker back at him as a better prospect so he keeps his demands in check. BTW, I asked him about the Cotric thing and he said he'd heard nothing but didnt think the Dogs would be that stupid!

Yeah, I'm very careful with what I put in here. I hear loads about other clubs but I steer well clear of that. I'll only drop a name in here if I think we're a good chance.

Guess we'll see what Pauga is made of on Sunday arvo. From what I've seen of Hoffman this year, he's no world beater.
