New Corp is reporting the 27-year-old is in “advanced stages of brokering a deal” to ensure that fresh environment is still in the NRL.

Milford’s suitor is unknown at this stage, but he has been linked to the Rabbitohs with Jason Demetriou taking over as coach next season. The two have worked together at the Broncos.

With Billy almost confirmed to Broncos, maybe a player swap is on the cards, sweetening the deal.

Hopefully it's Tevita not Milford though.

I was thinking the opposite, the Broncos upgraded Willison as there was interest from 4 Clubs so that makes 31 contracted players, so they need to shed 1, there has been no announcement from the dogs,(the cool off period expired yesterday),the Dragons the 3rd club interested have increased their offer for Finucane, so the Tigers may pull a Bradbury in landing him.

If we let billy go as a swap deal for tpj it would leave us short a player as we only have one spot left to fill.
So it makes sense to let him go there next year.

I'm hoping that because Dogs have not announced TPJ yet as they are normally quick, that might mean we are still in with a chance. What does concern me is that none of the forum reliable posters have said anything in days.. Fingers crossed for some good news soon

I wouldn’t expect we would have announced TPJ this week even if we were to have signed him with us playing them this week even though he is out. But I’ve already prepared myself to the fact he isn’t coming, if we do happen to sign him it will be a nice surprise.
