I have heard Maguire wants Connor Watson but won't as long as Mbye is on the books as it would have to much $$$ tied up in one position. If we were to sign Watson it would mean wed have a $900k player in Mbye in reserve grade which is salary cap suicide. If someone takes Mbye off us expect us to increase interest in Connor.

Hopefully tomorrow he silences the critics.

I hope he has been working on the weaknesses in his game over the last couple of months. Just needs to mix his game up a little and take the opportunities to give early ball to the players playing outside him.

I was actually saying the other day, that with moving him back to 6 we should just play like an under 12's side and give it to the big kid (AD) and let him run because the outside backs weren't doing much with the ball they have been given for the last month.

Our outside backs have done just about nothing when given early ball... the only person who needs consistent early ball is Luciano, he needs to wind up.

Look at NSW , their halves in games 1 & 2 get early ball to the centre’s and they pretty much win us the game. Game 3 , the halves do the complete opposite and the centre’s hardly touch the ball. Douhei would be a great centre if we get him early ball same as roberts. Douhei at 5/8 is not going to get the ball out.

Terrible comparison as nsw had 2 of the top 10 attacking players in the comp at centre and we’ve had nothing but garbage their all season. No wonder Douehi runs the ball so much

Can you confirm they are at 31? Remember they lost Lodge recently. Ivan wouldn’t be stupid enough to upgrade a player to a squad there is no position for.

They have 34 players signed including 3 development players, Willison has received an upgrade, I presume moving into the top 30

To me this is the part of his game he needs to work on. He can tackle as well. He hits hard. The problem is he takes the wrong option at times and doesn't work hard enough off the ball.

It'll be interesting when Hastings gets here. I hope AD kills it at 6 and tries to make the spot his own. I think AD can also play well at centre so maybe Hastings and Brooks in the halves and AD at centre will work.

AD is to me one of the guys we should be building around.

To me this is the part of his game he needs to work on. He can tackle as well. He hits hard. The problem is he takes the wrong option at times and doesn't work hard enough off the ball.

It'll be interesting when Hastings gets here. I hope AD kills it at 6 and tries to make the spot his own. I think AD can also play well at centre so maybe Hastings and Brooks in the halves and AD at centre will work.

His defensive positioning is what let's him down and that's made even worse at centre.

I think AD has proven he’s not a centre. He’s close to our best player in attack and doesn’t have the agility for centre.

I like Hastings but I also want AD closer to the ball. Will be interesting to see how they handle it.

AD is very solid defensively.

I would gladly take another 3 if him.

AD is a good defender at 82.3% tackle efficiency. He's been been thrown around by Madge and not allowed to grow into the 5/8 roll. If anything, Madge doesn't have the ability to manage the squad and allow players to excel based on their strengths.

He did one game and we won and douhei looked great in the centre’s. other then that we don’t do it.
