Just looked at his Roosters bio, he isn't that impressive and has played 3 games to date (according to profile)?

What is it, that you are seeing in him?

He got under Sammy B's skin.
Through him off his game.

There was a lingering family issue there with Smith that got under Burgess' skin...other than that,havent seen him do anything of note

I hope so too Demps. AD is a good footballer, but i can't see him, TT, hoffman, or Cini having enough speed to be a threat in this competition playing in the backline. They would be targeted. I hope i'm wrong, but time will tell.

Far better than what we have. Do the Roosters let him go for one more year with Josh Morris or keep him? I am guessing Suaali plays centre next year then moves to FB in a few years.

Billy Smith as someone suggested earlier really should be getting a look which I think he would be, Roosters apparently were willing to let Mitchell walk cause they knew they had this kid coming through at centre

Now with the latest acquisition of Sualli, and Manu arguably being the best centre in the world - Smith finds himself off contract as a potential depth centre coming into next year if he remains

Kids played 2 games and scored 2 tries, tall strong ball runner and solid defender - him and Doueihi would be an amazing centre pairing for the future both very strong and elusive youngsters

Also, I believe Hartigan would 100% be interested due to how highly rated he was at the roosters and our desperate need of a centre with both Roberts and Leiluia leaving most likely

Would be shocked if Hartigan wasn’t working on this behind the scenes as he himself saw it up close from his time at the Roosters - we’d be able to offer more money and a first grade spot…. think this may have more wheels than just a suggestion if you asked me

Tesi Niu could be one to watch this afternoon if he is off contract still. If we lose BJ/JTJ/Mbye and potentially have clouds over AJ (fitness) and Talau, Hoff, Kei, Pauga (development - haven’t seen enough of latter 3 to judge) than I think Tesi has looked quite good of late

He was OK at Melbourne but has been average since he left.
