To play centre? What would you pay him? I’d go as night as 750 or 800

Many teams would be prepared to pay that for him so there’s no chance he’d choose us, unless we offered him double that.

What is the love on here for Conner Watson. I really don’t think he is a great lock unless you have others dominating the middle. Imo if we were after someone of that mould we would be better served going for Lachlan lewis. At least he is a better defender

Also think if we are after a lock then Hastings is bigger and taller then Watson. Hastings is 182 cm abd 95kg which makes him bigger then Cam Murray, bigger then Victor Radley and bigger then Connor Watson. Think he could be the perfect lock in the modern quick game

He would give us the link ball player we tried with Mbye earlier this year and given our forwards having no real passing ability then having a central passer who talks and yells a lot to get your middles in place and gives you back up for your halves, hooker is a really viable option imo.

Centre is a position we desperately need a top line athlete to fill. $750k doesn't seem too unreasonable.

Are we just talking about random signings that we think would be great? Cool, we should sign Cleary as well.

With Hastings coming I’m not sure where they’d put him, but I’d take him in a heartbeat. What a player.

I think we tried to get him when he left the rooster, but failed. Would be a great pick up at the right price as he is playing with energy and committment at the knights.we could do with some of that week to week

Yes true. Although I don’t see him having the same impact physically as the guys above and probably all of the above have a fair bit of speed for forwards.
