Lachlan Lewis will be on the market soon..

I actually don't mind him, but I don't think he is a half. I think he could possibly be effective as a ball playing lock or second row. He has a good pass and defends well. He is also tough and competitive. He might need to bulk up a bit, but he is pretty solid as it is.

He has a nasty habit of being a human speedhump and gets knocked out in the process. Not sure if he’s brave or stupid

The NRL’s integrity unit is investigating Canterbury player Lachlan Lewis over a “serious matter”.

Channel 9 journalist Danny Weidler broke the news on Twitter on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs confirmed in a statement Lewis has been stood down pending the investigation, after the club took the matter to the NRL.

Weidler tweeted; “serious matter: Bulldogs board discussed the matter. The issue was discovered by the club in the last 24 hours”.
Weidler later tweeted again, revealing; “Lewis is alleged to have taken property belonging to the team and NRL and attempted to sell it on eBay”.

The NRL provided each team with a number of home comforts for the team room, such as a Playstation and other electronic goods.

It is alleged that Lewis was caught on the hotel’s CCTV, wearing a hood and taking a soundbar speaker.

450k a year and you’re doing that? Does he have a gambling problem? If I was on that sort of money and could only do it for 5-10 years you better believe I’d be avoiding anything that was going to get me sacked.

It was deserved Henry must have been watching the Simpsons or something else, he certainly wasn’t watching the game.

He was the worst ref and now he's the worst video ref. I'm not even someone who blames refs but how he still has a job is mind blowing, he's awful

He was a very ordinary footballer and has been on the downslide since. I think he got the video job from Jarrod Maxwell, who in my opinion was the worst referee ever.

But was still in demand from one of the frontrunning clubs. Hasn't their choice paid off. Watching the Panthers play their brand of football is a pleasure. Great talent, great development, great players and great coach. I wish we had the same.

Yes it was. The players he brought didn't fain/get injured injury or dog it until after he left. Packer, Reynolds et al.

Cleary seems to get the best out of the majority of his players, he has a calm and relaxed attitude and you rarely see him blowing up or criticising his players, Maguire has got very few players to perform their best or improve, imo, the Polynesian and indigenous players I believe don’t work well with the hard nosed in your face style that Madge brings. Players like Brooks that are quiet and can lack confidence have gone backwards, it’s also a worrying sign for the juniors stepping up if Maguire’s style can get the best out of them.
