Buzz on the drink again maybe?

What does it say? I don't have instagram so can't access the link.

Buzz just polarising popular opinion nothing exciting.

I fail to see how any player can afford to point the finger if this rubbish is true.

The story on Fox says that several players were dumbfounded that Brooks won the award and not Douehi. Can't say that I blame them for being considered confused by that decision

You need to learn how to defend before you can be considered for a top award.

What about a halfback who can't pass, kick, direct or talk?

Isn't Douehi in the halves also. Maybe he should pick up a bit of that slack. I love how its always Brooks' fault in a 17 man team.

Funny that. When Douehi was in the halves and getting the ball when he wanted it, taking on some of the kicking duties and 'picking up the slack' as you put it. Whilst getting good reviews from the pundits, what did Madge do? Shifted him to centre coz his little boy Brooks didn't like it.

What the. Are you suggesting Douehi was moved to the centres because Brooks didnt like it. Are we going to blame him for that now too. Surely your having a lend.

Doueihi and LL were probably our weakest in defence all year. Considering we are a team where defence was our biggest weakness, the praising of Doueihi to the extent he receives on the forum is way over the top. After two knee reconstructions, I'd suggest his future is in the forwards and he will need to improve his workrate and defence.

AD is our only attacking threat. Moving him to the forwards negates that and we get what was served up by Brooks last round

Since junior days, I've always believed Doueihi is the Paul Langmack style of lock forward. Langmack was a great link between the forwards and backs and basically a very clever second 5/8. I'd like to see Doueihi in this role.

Douehi ball skills aren't in the same city as Langmack's were

How was his skills at the same age.

Langmack was on a Kangaroo Immortals tour at the same age

Thanks

Geez things really must have gone south for Liddle since re/signing in June for the next two years
"I’m really excited to be able to stay on with the club,” Liddle said.
“It’s been a bit of an up-and-down ride for myself personally, but I’ve loved being at Wests Tigers and really feel a part of what we’re building here.
“I’m determined now to make sure I continue to deliver my best footy each and every week and help bring success to the club, its members and its fans.”
Tigers coach Michael Maguire praised Liddle for his work ethic and said he was pleased to see the hooker remain with the club.
“Jacob has had to work really hard over the past few years,” Maguire said, “But he’s got himself now to a point where he has grown a lot as a footballer.
“He also knows where he wants to get to as a player and where he wants this club to be, and I’m looking forward to watching him continue to grow and achieve more in the years to come.”

I'm sure the team that puts our social media pieces together every few days are the ones who write up these fluff pieces each time someone signs. Can you seriously believe that a footballer would say those things? It's about as authentic as a politician's speech.

Sure - but less than six months ago the club offered a contract and Liddle committed - with known coach. Now it's suggested that there is a problem.

People talking stats need more perspective. Hodgson is an aggressive and crafty player with a good kicking game. Liddle is a mild speedster who struggles with decision making. On a team which has a lot of momentum Liddle would look really good, a poor man's Cook. On our team he gets bogged and sloppy.

Hodgson works well with little space, he has a deceptive slight of hand in his passing, he actively tries to lift his teammates in games and gets into the face of the opposition. Hodgson would work well at the tigers, I think he'd help a great deal with our attack and getting us out of bad situations with a good kick.

I hope it’s not Hodgson……. The game has past him…..sounds like an old us signing.

Surely we wouldn’t sign another player past his best!

He does not want to be coached by Madge.

He is not in the clubs plans.
(Family friend of Liddles, I believe)

I wouldn't be so sure he's here in Round 1.

I think this could be accurate. I know someone who met Liddle just in the last few weeks. Said he had very few nice things to say about the coach. Time will tell I guess.

Oh! but if you have an agenda against Liddle - the above is not true, but they put forward a suggestion he is against Madge.

A coach who has stood by him and given him a go. Go figure.

Hodgson is the type of player we need, my worry is he’s past his expiry date. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Liddle end up at the dogs theres been chatter about that even before he resigned. Seems like a bit of a Hail Mary from Madge and co I’m not gunna lie.

Another dud signing….last year showed how slow and ineffective he has become….why can’t Farah mentor Simkins,….there have been 19/20yo hookers excel in NRL

Liddle wasn't just another player in Rehab riding a bike. Madge had him inside the coach's box during games. I always thought that was a huge tip that he rated Lids highly. 2021 was the 1st full season for him. Next year is the year he dominates. Simpkins is still a kid - Harry Grant was 22 when he joined us and this year was injured more often than not.

IMO if we were close to signing Hodgson the media would be all over it.

I don’t buy it.

Or the club have finally learnt their lesson ? We’ve had no leaks since the review, the Peachey one was an lucked by the media when I believe it was already a done deal and this week you’ve got buzz making stuff up. For once I’m grateful not to see us in the news every second day

On the way out apparently. Doesn’t like Madge. Sources @demps, @willow, @cochise

Why can't all the players do a Forum poll

Do you like Madge ...yes or no

Doesn’t work.. I don’t like you and you are still here

You can ban me ....no sweat

@cctw was on here the other day and made no mention of Hodgson. Liddle will be with us next year

If Hodgson comes Liddle will be playing reserve grade for us or will have to go elsewhere

Just because one person who has news, doesn’t mean they all do. Everyone has different sources and links to the club

Hodgson won’t be coming. Neither will Cotric or Lomax. The Dragons version of @THE_POM basically called that rumour rubbish
