i was talking to a five year old boy this morning and he was excited at the prospect of playing football with his mate this afternoon.He said that he was the roosters and his friend was parramatta,
i said why don't you be the tigers?
he shook his head and said nah,not the tigers.
out of the mouth of babes.
me thinks wests tigers need to do a lot of promotion to restore the brand.

Who do his parents and family support?

I've lobbied my kids since Day zero - my son always players Tigers versus Panthers or Manly. Even today Tigers beat Panthers in his basketball game, which is great except I don't follow basketball.

Played an average of 75 mins over 20 games and hasnt averaged less the 70 in 5 years. Yep he is an 80 min hooker

JMK can do a job and they have big wraps on young cook they got from south’s. Clearly not as they signed 2 starting calibre players in Burns and Asiata to fill the bench/reserves. Gould isn’t stupid. If you only have Hethrington/Vaughan, what happens when one inevitably gets suspended. Only way I see us acquiring Thompson is if Liddle goes elsewhere and then we get him.

I really like the idea of signing Hodgson but I think those calling for him to be captain are making a mistake. Too often in recent times we've give captaincy to incoming players who haven't proven anything with us. I've always defended Madge and want him to continue, but his captain selections have been bad. I think it really cheapens the jersey to give players the captaincy like that and it is a knock to the players who are here. And what if he starts playing rubbish?

Captaincy should be earnt a bit more. We all saw how it turned out with Tamou and prior to that Packer, Mbye, Reynolds. I find the fact those players have been our captain to be a bit embarrassing. He doesn't talk much but I'd much rather Twal were captain than some new player who has done nothing for us.

And Fifita at GC - it seems to be the new go to keep your creative second rower fresh to make impact on tired defenders

With peachy at 13 - it means we don't have to carry a back on the bench.
