Clubs already identified him as their next long term Hooker he’s just not ready yet hence why they are signing Hodgson or at least trying to if the club had faith in Liddle to take charge until then Hodgson wouldn’t be in discussion of coming if they are sending one of our Hookers to Dogs it would be Liddle

The Knights have officially released Pearce from the final year of his contract;
And it looks like the Eels have offered Gutho, Paulo and Mahoney less than what they/their manager is asking for...interest from other clubs is out there - not sure if we're one of them.

Even IF we were, no one wants to come here.
We are slim pickings for decent signings

Pretty sure anyone will come if the money is right, but we have been down the “out of money” path before and they are rightly nervous to never let it happen again.

While I agree that being in the out of money pit is something I hope doesn’t happen again we do have to spend more if we want to legit have a chance of signing some players compared to other clubs until we get more consistent in finals the trick is we just have to invest in the right talent
