No point getting Luki if we have Papali'i. Blore and Papa to start with Luch off the bench for impact. Kemla can continue to develop his game in NSW cup.

He should MAX get 500k. His defense doesn't live up to his attack. If he did get his defence right I feel he could be an excellent player. But still anything over 500k for a second rower is a lot as it is.

NRL transfer news: Eels star Eels Isaiah Papali’i signs with Wests Tigers

Parramatta have lost their second star back-rower in as many weeks with the Wests Tigers landing a crucial blow by adding Eels strike player Isaiah Papali’i on a big money three-year deal.

The Eels have now lost Marata Niukore and Papali’I in successive weeks after Niukore opted to join the Warriors.

The Eels were blown out of the water by their rivals with both players commanding more than $600,000 to make the move.

Papali’i was a revelation this year after joining the Eels on a cut-price deal after being cast aside from the Warriors.

He will remain at the Eels in 2022 before joining the Tigers in 2023. It is a huge coup for the Wests Tigers under new head of football Tim Sheens.

It is Sheens’ first significant signing under his watch.

Once it’s announced, this will be the most frequently asked question for the rest of the off season. Anything is possible, but it’s a safe assumption that he won’t be released early. He’s practically on minimum wage, and look at the value they are getting. They’d be crazy to give him up a year early. Plus, Stefano is a prime example on where they stand on early releases. And he was a kid who barely saw first grade. Papali’i is their player of the year
