What's good !?

Sorry mate, don't have an update but I'd say our chances are improving after LL signing. I don't think we'll know anything until the borders open. I heard the Cowboys are shopping Jordan McLean around. If they can't offload him they won't be able to offer Luki or Nanai anything decent. I'd double down and go for the both of them.

Great idea.
Realistic too.

McLean - no thanks.

Thanks for posting.

Better off shopping in Doubles - Especially if we're asking young blokes to re-locate.
Much more chance of it happening if a best mate is coming with them.

I've also had this opinion when shopping O/S, Cherry picking is harder than pack hunting.

Is what we did with Simpkin / Hoffman.

They're probably mates with Tuki too.

Please WT, don't sign Foran. Look what happened to injury prone Balin from Manly, he only played a couple of games and I smell a rat. It also appears that after reading all the posts on this forum that Foran goes against what little WT DNA we have left.

WT'S will always be linked to anyone that is available BUT we are now in good hands with people that know what it's all about. Dare I say our new CULTURE might finally be kicking in.

What culture are you referring to?

If it's the culture that WT leaders and board have no idea about building and evolving a dynamic and responsive NRL club, then I think you're right.

The Sheens, McDonnell and Marshall appointments sums us up perfectly; go for a feel-good junket that is backward looking, reactionary and shambolic.

You appear to be stuck in the past and not prepared to accept hey things might actually be improving yes a lot of errors have been made and hopefully their learned once upon a time we signed any player who had a pulse and gave in to players demands to keep them on board from I'm seeing we are more selective when making decision

Are they both off contract at the end of ‘22?

Luki has no contract, don't worry about what Zero Tackle says. we offered him a deal for 2021.

Obviously he is still in NQ but how has he reacted to our interest in him?

He's listed as being signed for them in '22 on the NRL website. Nothing after that though

Whys that make him a hypocrite? He's right...
The Dogs and Parra aren't clubs like the Tigers - They have money - That they like to spend on the Football Dept.
I remember a few years back now, When the Wests Group (Ashfield / Campbelltown) and Balmain Leagues put in 150k each (300k Total) To the Tigers Football dept.
Canterbury Leagues put in 4 mill.

Dogs were playing in GF's, We were overpaying Adam Blair.

Yea , that’s some 2018 type scenarios there mate . In the last few years the investment in the football department has gone up leaps and bounds , and come the end of this offseason even more .

I'll say we can compete with Parra and the Dogs in recruitment when we start competing with Parra and the Dogs.
We've had 1 win over them in 20+ years, And he still hasn't played a game for us yet...

I would call Stefano a win and a big one

True... Tip my hat to that. (That's 2)
I'm certainly worried about them buying him back next year though.

I doubt if he would go back there considering the way the club handled his brother, somewhere like the rorters or manly would be more likely

With how @Terry-T-Nuts described him that would make sense. Big body and a big motor.

Hi all, in regards to Luki, dont get too excited a mate from work was talking to a Cowboys insider and he wants to stay in Queensland and the Cowboys are very worried about the Dolphins coming in with a big offer for 23

The Wests Tigers have picked up a handy front-rower from Newcastle who could push for a top grade spot next season.

Christian Ma’anaima was in the Knights’ NRL squad this year but had no chance to show his wares behind the likes of the Saifiti brothers and David Klemmer.

The big middle forward turns 21 next year and will start the season in NSW Cup and wait for an opportunity.

A strong player with a good motor, he could prove another astute buy for the Tigers.

Incorrect in the last 20 years we have beaten the Dogs 16/40 for 40% win rate.
The Eels we have won 15/43 for a 34.8% win rate.

Just a little more than 1 win in 20 years.

I'll say we can compete with Parra and the Dogs in recruitment when we start competing with Parra and the Dogs.
We've had 1 win over them in 20+ years, And he still hasn't played a game for us yet...

Incorrect in the last 20 years we have beaten the Dogs 16/40 for 40% win rate.
The Eels we have won 15/43 for a 34.8% win rate.

Just a little more than 1 win in 20 years.

Calm down Winner (Read twice then reply)
