With Cotric heading back to Canberra I’m 100% confident that James Roberts will get a new contract for 2022 Thompson could still happen to fill our squad because I reckon that the final 2 spots will be 1 back and 1 forward the back is definitely JTJ if its not its one of our lower grade players and the final spot could be that guy we signed from Knights Christian I think his name is if we aren’t trying for Thompson

Giving JTJ an NRL contract is admitting defeat for 2022 before it begins. He's nowhere near good enough anymore

There’s simply not enough talent left on the market most likely it is JTJ unless we either promote one of our lower grade players or another Centre becomes available before next season although I’m not confident of that happening

All of the players who swap clubs, none of them are 'available'. We have what 700k to spend,if we waste 100k on a proven failure like Roberts it would be a terrible show of desperation and failure.
He's on a t+t contract. If we have injuries and need him then he can play, but there's absolute no need to waste any time or money on wanted up has beens.

Like I said not enough talent left on the market so unless Tigers are gonna try and do a swap for a Centre it’ll be JTJ or they’ll promote one of our lower grade players

I was never on board with Cotric. This year showed he needs good players around him to succeed. He’d probably play 20 SOO matches if was at a team like the Roosters or Storm. He’d suffer the same fate here as he did at the Dogs. He’d be lost, and would be a Forum punching bag in no time. I’d be open to Herbie.

Tigers should allocate Lucianos money to Luki and Nanai. Farnworth has been mentioned the kid is a gun walks in at centre and would be cheaper than Cotric. Under the radar prop is Oregan Kaufusi Eels don’t want him he may be good and low cost for us.
