I don't get the lack of love for JTJ. I thought he looked dangerous when he had the ball this year, it's just that he didn't see enough of it.

Definitely VALUE for the price tag. Value is everything in this game.

We don't need value, we have a squad full of backup players. We need quality, and have heaps of cap, probably more than any other club. Signing rejects that haven't played well in years because they're cheap is just tragic. His defence has always been crap. He doesn't work that hard, he's not versatile. Pretty much exclusively a centre.

Unless we're signing someone for 6-700k on our last player and needed someone else on peanuts then this is just absurd. He was on a train and trial and could have played if we got a huge amount of injuries.

If you needed any more sign that we're giving up on 2022 this would be it

BB you hit the nail on the head. The last thing we need is another so called depth player and if they are going down this track for what even reason, give the contract to a kid with potentially a big future.
