I was thinking the pro Brooks brigade are no different.
So blinded with their love they simply cannot see the truth or handle any negativity towards the chosen one.
It's a stalemate but the guy has the fans split but the truth still remains...
He's a local boy, a Tiger through and through.
We all wished he kicked on to successful heights and lead us to the land of finals but he's failed to deliver in an important position, year after year.
If it's his fault? Or the coaches, the players around him, I believe everyone can agree... we'd all prefer not to be having these discussions and instead celebrating success.
A Tiger through and through.
The Tigers, a reputation for 9th position... or lower.
Can't win the easy games, can't control the games, go to sleep in the last 30.
A reputation we have built... with Luke Brooks being at the core of it.
2022, enough is enough.
We're stuck with him, hopefully he can improve his game and show what we all have been expecting since the debut against the Dragons.
Otherwise, strap in lads.
The "Punt Him" comments will continue.
Maybe some, and the truth probably sits somewhere in the middle.
My opinion is that he is probably somewhere mid pack in terms of NRL halfbacks. He got compared to Joey as a kid and people are still getting over the fact he isn’t. Newsflash, there isn’t another Joey Johns. I don’t know if anyone has noticed but decent halfbacks are rare as hens teeth at the moment. That’s why guys like Hunt and Townsend are on stupidly big contracts even though they aren’t worth it.
It’s one thing to say punt Brooks, it’s another thing to find someone better, and then to bring that player here.
Hastings could be the player and he’s already here
