Interested to read Poms comments re Musgrove, that he wants to stay and work his way into calculations.Assuming we get Klemmer and not Leniu, I’d go with Joffa and Klemmer starting with Stefano and Twal off the bench. Pole will play most games with injuries/suspensions happening but shouldn’t be rushed into playing every game.
Much stronger than Tamou and Musgrove starting.
Every now and then he pulls his finger out and has a dig. He flattened someone off a line dropout this year when he actually ran it back hard. In my opinion his default mode is soft and those moments will never be consistent.Interested to read Poms comments re Musgrove, that he wants to stay and work his way into calculations.
Either he thinks that Hook is a really bad coach or is that some semblance of fight/determination from big Mus.
I’d love to think it’s the latter and hope it’s a disease that quickly spreads throughout the club. 🙏🙏
I'm growing old and had to number them before I forgot! Thanks for the laugh,
I considered this
1. Brooks is contracted until end of 23 with WTs.
2. Sheens and our Chair (and Marshall as well) have a high opinion of Brooks and stated he will be here in 23 and they want him to remain post 23 as a one club player.
3. If Brooks were to leave, it would not be to the Knights.
4. I'd back Sheens, Marshall and Farah over anyone the Knights have to offer in terms of negotiations.
5. Brooks has demonstrated over the years his loyalty to WTs. I admit it appears that was tested by Maguire ball but now Sheens, Farah and Marshall are here we are back on track.
I think he would leave to get a good run in nrl so why don't we target the players that have class and maybe not on the radar as much as othersIf he leaves Panthers, ciraldo will get him to the Bulldogs
No way he plays from the bench or he is out...Then he becomes an out not an eight.
Bench !
Don’t think twal gives u anything off the bench, not like he’s a game breaker. I have klemmer and twal starting. Stefano and joffa/Leniu/Pole off the bench. Better impact, first twenty there just bashing each other! Save that for the meatheads!!Assuming we get Klemmer and not Leniu, I’d go with Joffa and Klemmer starting with Stefano and Twal off the bench. Pole will play most games with injuries/suspensions happening but shouldn’t be rushed into playing every game.

You could have just said - no.I considered this

My sentiments exactlyIt seems very few people realise the difference it makes as a playmaker when you are playing footy on the front foot. As Tigers supporters it’s pretty rare that we get to see it because our forwards are always in a grind and very often losing that grind. A few times over the years the Tigers have blown sides away and usually in those games Luke Brooks plays a major role. I hope he gets to play behind a strong pack of forwards before he’s finished up, preferably here but if it’s elsewhere I’ll still be happy for the kid. Our forwards are fkn fairies.
Probably, just wishful thinking on my behalf. No way he plays from the bench or he is out...
Joffa is the 1st player they signed into Benji's 1st year he will start.
You see failure upon failure, I see matters very differently.I believe Brooks is the best half at the club atm, and has been a victim to a sub-standard squad for the best part of his career.
I appreciate your stern stance....
Although none of what you've written means much if Brooks himself doesn't want to be here.
He's given the best part of his career to the club, Surrounded by below par NRL players - And he may well have just had enough....
Who knows what being the WT's 7 is doing to him....
It's a shame we didn't get a few quality players a year or 2 earlier....
Peter Parr at the Knights has done more in NRL squad Management and negotiations in the last 10 years than Sheens, Marshall and Farah combined x 100.
You seem fairly reasonable man, But your blind faith in the 3 Wise men is worrying
- Almost disturbing...
All 3 have failed upon failed at this club....
And have done absolutely nothing to get us "Back on Track"
I know Pom has a good insiders style, but these sort of comments along with his very low percentage track record leaves one feeling cautious. There's no way a player, given offer of another club and being told not wanted here, turns around and says 'nah, even though I'm not wanted by you and there's an offer elsewhere, I want to stay here and fight for my position'. Why would a player do that? The travel to st George is too much? He prefers wooden spoons? If I were Pom, I'd have said, 'both clubs want a deal but the tie up is that dragons want tigers to pay more of his contract than the tigers are prepared to pay'. That has more credibility and would be easier to reverse if a deal does happen.Interested to read Poms comments re Musgrove, that he wants to stay and work his way into calculations.

He's a very weird player because at various points in a game he'll appear in the fullback, stand-off, loose forward and the centre position. And he's usually the best player in all of them. As has been mentioned - highly unorthodox. Scares defenders because he can go off script at any point. Modern coaches hate those guys because you can't set a pattern to shut them down. Just wait till he gets his man body because he's only just 21. Not physically mature. He'll be another Wighton - but with better hands.
The abuse Williams took from Ricky's media puppets was terrible. The kid had done it tough living thousands of miles away from home with a young kid on the way. Loved the fact that some of his teammates came out in the media and stood up for him because I've never heard a single complaint about Williams' professionalism before or since. He's not had a great season for Warrington - but only because he returned to a totally dysfunctional team run by a second-rate coach who let the situation at the club boil over. You'll struggle to find any halfback with a better short kicking game. Lethal.
He's got immense talent. No question. But for me either he or his agent are just a bit too interested in the business side of things. Got to remember what got you to the position you are at. Because the moment you allow off-the-field matters to encroach on your game - you're done.
the bigger the lie, the more the people will believe it4th times a charm surely, brooks to the knights this time if they keep reporting it, it might eventually hit

But the rest of pom's post was very professionally done and allows for none of it to come to fruition when none of it will inevitably come to fruition.
But, like the old time fake gossip magazines, I'm still a fan of pom's posts and don't mind that truth and accuracy aren't a big part of what he writes, it's compelling nonetheless.
Big Klem in return would be nice 👌🏻4th times a charm surely, brooks to the knights this time if they keep reporting it, it might eventually hit
