If Brooks wants out, than the club must sit down with the Knights and do a deal that is weighted in our favour, but they have to get it done.

It would be a disaster to have your no7 not wanting to be at the club. Iam sure they could find another seven that would fill the gap for a year or two

I am not in or out of the Brooks camp, but everyone has to be 100% behind Sheens and his vision for the near future and it would appear Brooks has other plans. Of course it could all be fake news spread by the old drunk and his mates at the DT and Fox

So much so, I Can't help but wonder if it's manoeuvring from Brooks agent to get 1 more half out of Sydney and get much bigger money for his man at Parra for 24.

Someone said he purchased a house up in Newcastle at the beginning of the year or late last year he has a child now maybe it's best for him moving forward but I would love to have him coached by Sheenius he would use his speed in attacking plays

Happy for Brooks to forego his salary like Josh Reynolds.

I would be doing a Lawrence deal with him for 3 years , Cleary got him going , Sheens will as well it will be attack footy and brooks is quick

Realistically you can only have one of Klemmer, Twal and possibly even Joffa on the field at the same time. You Have to mix the workhorses with the impact players, not play both work horses and then all impact men. It simply doesn't work that way

I get what your saying but u don’t really need impact players in the first twenty. It’s mostly bash and barge. Klemmer can offload so he has more going for him than 5th tackle twal. Look at most other sides and they have their meatheads out there first and impact forwards coming off the bench. That gives them 20 minutes before the break they rest for 10 and then off again!
You still have joffa and Poole to use as workhorses.

What a load of crap
- You need pitchers and catchers.. Attack and defence.
If all the blokes on the park are just tackling bashers and bargers, What are you going to get out of them for the rest of the game?... Nothing
Furthermore, They're not doing anything to take gas out of the opposition.

You can't just suck up 80 minutes of assault and hope to win matches.
 
If you say Brooks is getting 1.1 and klem 800 k, then it isn't accurate to just say we are paying 1.1 to klem. If you insist on thinking of it this way, then you have to acknowledge we aren't paying his 800 k, nor would we be using a roster spot.

For me it's easier to think that for 1.9 Mil you get 2 players (or more than 1 cheaper player in the "+1" options below):

Brooks + 1
Brooks + Klemmer
Klemmer + 1

The contract values are obviously assumed, but whatever the actual figures are, neither player has to take less in 2023.

Personally don't care what the club does, have very little faith, but I'm ready to cheer or put the boot in as required haha

Going from the Tigers to Newcastle is hardly what a struggling half needs...
Seems it's also essentially costing Newcastle their best player from Last year?
My guess is Klem is probably also managed by Moses...
