To much money in northern hemisphere rugby to have a realistic chance at Clark. A French club will snap him up. Be good if we did, isn’t there a salary cap concession when you sign a rugby player??

That's no surprise, his asking price is ridiculous, however you can't blame the Bloke when he has to play alongside an inept failure in Brooks who gets paid more than anyone else in the clubWon’t be here at his current asking price, club won’t even entertain it.
Clarke might be an option for ‘24. would make sense considering Maumalo’s contract runs out end of this year and the RWC will be done. probably a pipe dream at this point but stranger things have happened.
The club owes him nothing. He's been overpaid his entire career and never ever played well enough to justify itThe club owes him a good team /forward pack
We didn’t have Fisher-Harris, Yeo, Martin, Kikau, Leniu. Etc etc etcSomething people said about Dale Finucane at the Sharks.. "he upgraded our game".
What concerns me is our front row needs an upgrade, someone who will help them train better. I think Tamou could have been that but he can't carry the pack himself. Tamou working with Martin and Isaah and all those Penrith young players worked well for him. It did not happen here, and I don't get that.
We need to have a good hard look at the WT as to why Tamou and our pack did not fire. All attention seems ot be on 1-7. Without go-forward as we saw last year..... WE are dead. We had Nathan Cayless, a great player and we had Tamou with our pack. We were steamrolled. Why?
He has always been a far better player than Brooks thoughlook how well Moses has played behind a good pack at Parramatta
a classy centre on $600Gotta say that overall this has been the best roster improvement the club has had for a long time. I’d probably rather Brooks/Hastings over Douihei/Brooks but we’re talking possibly 4 or more genuine class players coming in.
I worry what the backup plan is if AD doesn’t work out. I assume we get Laurie at 6 unless there’s a standout in the lower grades.
Mate all the cap space getting good players have we hired the trainee accountant from the Rooster's ? or did lending players and releasing players really help the cap so much ?Nothing on RTS
But Caleb Clarke could be a surprise pick-up.
Did someone say big Ken mite be a medical retirement because of his knee ?He plays on the same side too left
wing. Mutual option for Maumalo
In '24. Clarke would be our biggest
singing in the club's history.. wow
What pressure were normally behind by forty when the game heats upYep to flounder under pressure for another season
Time to hate me forum!Hard to know what's really going on with anyone but didn't Brooks or his agent say a while back that he was likely to go elsewhere when his WT deal is up at the end of next year. That said, now looks like we are looking to swap Hastings for Klemmer with the Knights. And what happened to the story about Woods returning to play a final year with us?
Brooks also owes the club and fans a few decent games. The club owes him a good team /forward pack

Rumour is Ken is leavingHe is electric, hope we get him. Bye Ken or Noffa
Across the game the short grubber is used less since the introduction of the seven tackle set. I think people forget that. You’re better off hitting opponents legs than whacking it dead.Ehhh, its a a start. Losing Hastings hurts any short-term success we'll have. We won't win the wooden spoon at least. Our forward pack is fine but we're relying on a few too many young blokes. And the Knights... talk about an overpay.
I'm very interested to see how well we are coached this season as the last two years were terrible. I like this move for Brooks, who is in his prime athletically and really should be playing better. Hopefully he gets the grubber back.
Even if we’re losing Klemmer will be angry. That beats nice guys who smile when they shake hands after getting pumped.I'll get excited when I see consecutive and consistent WWWs
Our forward pack is so light on and if Sheens/Marshall does not get it firing then we are in trouble.
Maybe Brooks was entertaining it TT.
The part in bold certainly says it all though
To all those brooks supporters who keep up saying that brooks never had good forwards to help him to play well, then take the time lo look up the west tigers teams from 2014 - 2015 - 2016 - 2017 then see if you can blame the lack of forwards on brooks bad play, good forwards or bad, brooks plays the same way,2 year extension for brooks 🙄
Throwing money down a drain there.
