Not if 20% of that is in TPA contributions. It sounds ridiculous doesn't it. We'd make him the highest paid player in the game.

If it were would prob be simpkin, can't see too many clubs lining up to take seyfarthThe 'off contract 2023' player on the move is an interesting one. Could only really be Simpkins or Seyfarth IMO.
No we wouldn't with the cap going up 20% and quite a few of the big names would be on ratchet clauses if not all of them. So if Cleary was on 1.1-1.2 before then he would be on 1.35-1.45 nowIt sounds ridiculous doesn't it. We'd make him the highest paid player in the game.
I think Sheens has been around too much, to listen to the ravings of the fans. For over 40yrs he would have had so called experts in his ear, he is a cool customer. I have spoken to people , who have known and spoken to him, they all say he is a very smart man.
This forum is unrecognisable to all doom and gloom - "we will never have a chance, we must relocate or merge", under our ex-coach!As one door closes , another opens. The esteem factor for our club is massive, we are no longer the club nobody wants to sign with. Four of the best players in the game have signed with us, and Moses a chance, who would have believed it at the start of the year? There will always be another, if we are unsuccessfull, roll on Tigers.
There are tangible improvements with the club - the books are good, new faces in Marshall, Farah plus Furner involved with the club, the COE, recruitment is excellent noting Sheens' comment that the Bateman signing is the domino he wanted to fall - more to come? This forum is unrecognisable to all doom and gloom - "we will never have a chance, we must relocate or merge", under our ex-coach!
The Sheens bashers have been awfully quiet of lateMaybe people will finally realise after 4 failed coaches that Sheens is the only bloke that could do anything at this club.
He knows what it takes
Thanks mate love your insights. Any idea who they are looking at as starting lock?Good idea in the next 2 weeks. But Laurie has played a fair part of the pre-season in the halves.

I don't think Seyfarth. If we have a couple of injuries in the back row we have next to no replacements so we really need him.The 'off contract 2023' player on the move is an interesting one. Could only really be Simpkins or Seyfarth IMO.
Thanks mate for update as usual..The club submitted its “final” offer to Mitch Moses this week. 4 year deal outright. Apparently last deal was 3 year + 1 year mutual option.
$5mill over the 4 year period. His management indicated a decision will be made next week.
Yep it’s amazing what you can do when you have ‘huge’ cap space in your first year in charge.I was harsh on him at the start but we look heaps better on paper. We'll have to see how go next season though.
Cheer up Earl, we need to dream for a while, and even you must be pleased. It's also the off season.
